Weather in mediteranean late June/early July

Recommended Posts

I'm not sure that I agree with everyone's use of the term hot. For the most part it will be mid 80's and sunny. The sun willl beam down and make it feel much warmer than the actual air temperature.

IT is a beautiful time to visit those areas. The key to enjoying your trip is to stay hydrated, and that means drinking as much water as you think you need and then drinking that much more. It is much easier to get extra water out of you than it is to put fluids in if you get dehydrated.

The hottest and most humid month is typically August.

In Fahrenheit you are still looking at highs in the high 80's and low 90's with some humidity.

If you can go in late May nicer time to visit with less tourists.

June is the worst month for sunburn - sun directly overhead. Take and use plenty of sunscreen.

I've always felt that July was consistently the hottest month - into the 40s [over 100F]. August can be hot, but is more changeable.
