qualifiedcruiseologist Posted June 3, 2015 #1 Share Posted June 3, 2015 What is the weather like in Rome, Venice, Croatia, Greek islands at around late June and early July? Does it rain often, clear skies, temp etc? Would the temperature/humidity be the same as a summer in the gold-coast in Australia?:)
navybankerteacher Posted June 3, 2015 #2 Share Posted June 3, 2015 Never experienced Australia, but the early summer in the Med is hot, not too likely to be rainy, temps regularly in 80's (F)
Rare cruisemom42 Posted June 3, 2015 #3 Share Posted June 3, 2015 It will be hot and rain is unlikely (except for a passing shower). You can check out temps and weather history for specific ports at one of the many good weather sites. I use http://www.wunderground.com for that kind of info. zqvol Posted June 3, 2015 #4 Share Posted June 3, 2015 I'm not sure that I agree with everyone's use of the term hot. For the most part it will be mid 80's and sunny. The sun willl beam down and make it feel much warmer than the actual air temperature. IT is a beautiful time to visit those areas. The key to enjoying your trip is to stay hydrated, and that means drinking as much water as you think you need and then drinking that much more. It is much easier to get extra water out of you than it is to put fluids in if you get dehydrated.
Rare Keith1010 Posted June 4, 2015 #5 Share Posted June 4, 2015 The hottest and most humid month is typically August. In Fahrenheit you are still looking at highs in the high 80's and low 90's with some humidity. If you can go in late May nicer time to visit with less tourists. wowzz Posted June 4, 2015 #6 Share Posted June 4, 2015 June is the worst month for sunburn - sun directly overhead. Take and use plenty of sunscreen. I've always felt that July was consistently the hottest month - into the 40s [over 100F]. August can be hot, but is more changeable.
