ccletzgo Posted June 9, 2015 #1 Share Posted June 9, 2015 I was just some Daily Planners and am wondering what type of glass is the "drink of the day" served in now days. Its been a while for me. Are they the glass tall glasses or the cheesy plastic ones? I have a small collection of the glass martini glasses with the blown glass anchor stamp in them. I am hoping to be able to add to it.. thanks!

If the DOD is indeed still just $7.75, we'll drink that. We usually do anyway so if this is true, the package wouldn't save us any money, it would actually cost us more. Goodtime Cruizin Posted June 9, 2015 #10 Share Posted June 9, 2015 Unless things have recently changed, if you order with pkg, you don't get the glass, if you order w/o the pkg, the price is higher as it covers the glass. I also think the DoD sold by the pool, is in plastic vs those sold inside the promenade at the bars.
Carolla5501 Posted June 9, 2015 #11 Share Posted June 9, 2015 Can you get the drink of the day without the glass? I won't be hauling these home so it seems wasteful to get them.

Langley Cruisers Posted June 10, 2015 #16 Share Posted June 10, 2015 My beef is that the DOD can be different prices in different venues. DH often orders them and they can be as much as $1.00 higher in some of the bars/lounges/restaurants (sorry I can't be more specific; I just noticed the difference in price when the bill came, is all).
