What do you do to get wrinkles out of clothes once on the boat?

Us too, you can get a small bottle most anywhere. Just spray your clothes, hang them up, and voila, wrinkles are gone!

I just hang clothes and within a day, dampness draws out all wrinkles...I have never needed to iron anything in over 10 cruises!

there's a iron available in the laundry rooms. I think they're on every other floor, check with your steward for location.

I don't mind using the iron, it only takes a few minutes.

Yep! I got a big bottle to refill my little bottle that I won't leave home without. Actually I use it at home too since I don't put a lot of my clothes in the dryer and sometimes after washing, they aren't as wrinkle free as I would like. So I hang them to dry then when I'm ready to wear, a couple spritzes makes them perfect!

 

No time for an iron on land or at sea (plus I don't want to have to go to the laundry room wherever that may be located on my floor on the ship since you cannot bring them or steamers onboard).

 

Takes all of 10 seconds. It's wonderful!

In the past I've also used the bathroom as a steam room for really wrinkled stuff.

If you pack well there should be no need. A couple of times I had a shirt come out somewhat wrinkled. I just hung it to steam for a few in the bathroom. I sure as heck am not ironing while on vacation!

Packing clothes with dry cleaner bags every few layers will keep out the wrinkles very well.

We only pack clothes made of poly/cotton or nylon or other fabrics that rarely wrinkle. Actually, we only have permanent press clothing. I don't even own an iron.

We use a water bottle. Put the item on a hanger, lightly spray it, give the hanger a cpl good shakes and let it air dry a cpl mins. We do it at home too daily

A flat iron is good for quick jobs like collars and cuffs. I use Downy Wrinkle Release too - at home and away!

The Downy Wrinkle Release spray really does work wonders! I also bring a small travel sized steamer with me when I travel. Even though the Downy spray works great, for some fabrics it doesn't get the wrinkles out completely so the steamer helps. For our most recent cruise, though, I ended up not using the steamer at all, just the spray.

Steamers are strictly prohibited and will be confiscated if found, therefore, I do not recommend bringing one. Just because it got through one time doesn't mean it will again. Plus Carnival deems it a fire hazard. We don't have to agree with the rules, just abide by them. Stick with the Downy Wrinkle Release.
