😒Sorry to hear that.    We have three 3 offers right now and unable we are unable to use them.   Wish I could share them

My wife and I have like 3 offers each now. All are under 7 days. Most just Fla or Ca sail from ports.

I don't understand Casino Royale. As I've mentioned before, I'm not gambling much at all these days. As expected, my offers on the website dried up. But today, I got this 23RCL803 offer for a balcony cabin on one of about a dozen different itineraries ranging from 3-7 nights, plus $100 freeplay.

I have to wonder what input into their algorithm keeps sending me significant offers because it ain't my accumulated points.

None of it makes any sense but I have read that if you have a lot of casino offers already booked, they are not sending more…so that kinda makes sense in your case, Marc…you were a big spender in the past and have slacked off…so they’re trying to get you back !

Does every ship's casino (RCCL) require 1200 points per cruise for a free inside cabin from an instant certificate?

I have seen some posts where RCCL has increased it on some sailings to 1500 points. My early April sailing I spoke with some fellow cruisers on Allure. Got their 1200 cert, and no 7 days sailings on it. They were disappointed. My wife picked up her 2000 cert early. It showed some 7 days sailings. Went to Next Cruise. Nope, offers were gone. Only 3-5 days actually left to book. After getting home I phoned/emailed Casino Royale trying to get a 7 day. NOPE ! We go on Carnival Sep 23. We are both PRIME and DIamond.

Your story is a great reminder that just b/c a cruise is listed among the eligible cruises doesn't mean that there are still comp cabins available for casino bookings. The "closer in" the sail date, the most likely it will be that the comp rooms are all gone.

We learned an important lesson a few sailings ago.  Dan was near a "cutoff" point for the next tier level (instant comp cruise tier level, not Club Royale tier level)  and finally decided to go for it.  He reached the level only to find that the cruises listed on that level didn't even have a single cruise leaving out of Florida !  Lesson learned - BE SURE YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE PLAYING FOR !!  Ask the casino  host for a list of the sailings that you will be eligible for BEFORE you bother to level up.  ...and even then, there's no guarantee that there will actually be cabins available to book on any cruise on that list.

4 offers currently listed for my wife, a mix of sailings up to 7 days.  Not many out of Baltimore and Bayonne which we are primary looking for now.  Definitely way less than last year this time, but then again we don't have enough vacation time to take any offer right now.  We are sitting just shy of 1900 TC from one sailing in this gambling year with Wonder booked for Feb of 2024.  A range of ships in our offers.  We are tying our first Carnival sailing next month on Venezia and will give them some play to see what comes out of that.

Wow! Our neighbors just got home from a 10 day comped cruise on Carnival Pride to Norway. They are Diamond on Royal, so I told them they should try Casino Royale and go for the 1200 point cert. for their next cruise. But if they have to pay full price for the first cruise and spend a lot of money to get 1200 points for just a 3 to 5 day cruise, it's not worth it. I'm going to tell them to call and see if they can get a good price for the first cruise.

Thanks for that advice! If I can get a 7 day, it would be worth it to me. But not for a 3 to 5 day. I need points to qualify for next year.

Wonder is my new favorite ship. The casino is fun!

Glad to hear that.  We've been on Oasis/Anthem/Adventure/Enchantment/Grandeur and our favorite ships are Enchantment/Grandeur.  Didn't care for Oasis much, Anthem was great, and Adventure was OK.  Casino wise again we likely Enchantment/Grandeur the most.  The Casino in Adventure was awful.  I have high hopes for the casino on Wonder.  Note that we are slot players and like old school non-video reel machines which are exceedingly rare now sadly.  We also don't play many themed machines.

Our next cruise is on Adventure, so I'm sad to hear this:(

We were on the Adventure in Feb. The only slot paying some was the $1 Diamonds or triple Diamonds. Had to bet more than a dollar.

Love the royal ships but my favorite game is Ultimate, which they bumped down the odds on. And the max payout was lowered. Only full payouts are on the old royal ships sadly.

We also play ultimate and I hadn’t noticed these changes.  Thanks for the intel.

We're doing a S2B2B next month on Adventure and Harmony. Which ship is better to accumulate points on the slots? Thanks!

All ships are exactly the same

The software doesn’t change from ship to ship

It is 1 point for $5 play through

The only exception is that for video poker it’s 1 point for $10 play through

So both 👍🏻

Be lucky 🍀

Raye

Wonder Golden room has a UTH table (non smoking casino)

That makes sense, but some seem so tight while others are fun to play in. Maybe it's just knowing which machines to play and what time of day is best.

It’s about being in the right place at the right time - all the rest is superstition and slot % payout setting from casino

It would be nice if there was a ship that had a slot  that was as loose as a goose, and fun to play - But no one would advertise which ship or machine 😉

I do agree though that some play better than others (sometimes) and some are historically volatile

Cant go wrong with Dragon Links on a $12.50 bet - that’s how we roll

(Rare on RC ships)

Good luck whichever ship and slot you choose 🎰 🍀

Compared to last year this time our offer list is bare bones to say the least.  Sadly even if it were overflowing we don't have the vacation time left this year to take advantage.  We are trying to stick to Baltimore and Bayonne to keep the cost down on future cruises as we can drive to either port, and that makes the offers even more rare.

We are on Venezia on Sept 8 off of a teaser offer Carnival sent our way (first ever Carnival cruise) and have the same budget as we would normally take on a RCCL sailing.  Let's see what that opens up for us.

I just got off Adventure July 8. I didn't play too much but 2nd to last day played about 30 minutes, won one hand pay and 3 majors on Lightning. It was very good for me. I actually just booked her today for 5/10 😉
