Cool Cruiser

Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. Labadee is one of our least favorite Ports! We like Cozumel;) For many years we rented a scooter and rode around Cozumel. It's a pretty ride! We would stop for lunch past the light house on the North shore, then play on the beach across the street. -In today's world, I'm more cautious.- We're sailing with you on this cruise. Enjoy!
  2. Out of curiosity I counted our cruises. By the end of this year, we will have sailed on RCCL 44 times with 5 more booked for next year. It should take 33 more 7 day cruises for us to reach 700 points. That would be 82 cruises for us to make Pinnacle.
  3. Hahah… Now I’m confused;) I just meant to say that when we booked an eight day cruise and could afford a JS, we got 32 points each. That added up quickly to put us well over 400 points, so now we feel Pinnacle is possible (for us), but it will still take 2 or 3 more years. With the current prices we book inside cabins. Maybe we should look into booking solo cabins. We just enjoy being on a ship!
  4. The double double points (in a Suite because of Covid) were nice! We have cruised with Royal for around 20 years and didn’t think we had a shot at Pinnacle. Now thanks to retirement and higher suite prices knocking us back to interior cabins, we can make it there in two more years.
  5. I think it was around 2005 (18 years ago) that we took our first Celebrity cruise. Cruise points were with their Captain's Club.
  6. We’re on our way to board Adventure tomorrow. Still waiting to hear where we’re going:( I booked this cruise for the itinerary, but it is what it is. We’ll be happy to be on a cruise to anywhere;)
  7. I just put three offers together for a b2b2b and upgraded to a larger balcony on the hump. I found it interesting that Port fees and taxes were $300 more than a b2b for the same amount of days. I think the reason is because of the fees at Miami and Nassau. Oh well, we wanted to be on Indy.
  8. I always look at the deck plan to see what is over, under and beside a cabin before I will book it.
  9. I have a couple new offers that I may put together. B2B's are fun if you can stay in the same cabin.
  10. That makes sense, but some seem so tight while others are fun to play in. Maybe it's just knowing which machines to play and what time of day is best.
  11. We're doing a S2B2B next month on Adventure and Harmony. Which ship is better to accumulate points on the slots? Thanks!
  12. I'm following this thread because we will be on Adventure next month. I keep checking my app, but nothing is listed. However, movies are listed for our Harmony - Sept. 16th cruise. Top Gun: Maverick, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever and Puss in Boots: The Last Wish will be in the theater or outside on the big screen. Top Gun has been on every cruise we've been on for the last year. It's awesome!
