what do you all think about the Glory?

I am going on a 14 nighter on Halloween and I have read all I can get my hands on.

I saw on youtube how the led lights change colors all over the ship and I love how it has the secret hot tub that u access from the locker rooms.

I also like the fact that it has a fish n chips and a sushi bar. Do they offer teatime??

Is the aft of the ship more quiet than the front? Do they enforce the rules of no kids on the serenity deck?

I am so excited I can barely sleep lol :D anything else I should know?? Thanks!!

We enjoy the Glory. We did a B2B on it last year and almost booked that again for this year, but we did a B2B on the Breeze this year. Our next cruises will be a B2B on one of those two ships.

Those 2 ships are ideal for B2B because they alternate itineraries each week.

They've actually enforced the no kids rule on every Serenity deck we've been on. (There seem to be lots of rules that aren't enforced.). They also enforced it for the adult comedy shows.

Just returned on an Eastern itinerary on this ship in June. Had a wonderful time. The "hidden" hot tub is actually accessed through the spa entrance on the way to the gymn. You can see it while your in the gym working out it is surrounded by glass, not private at all (lol). But you access it through the shower areas right before the gym entrance doorway. Just keep forgetting to make time to utilize everytime. We actually prefer the decor on this ship to some of the other conquest type ships. Good waitstaff all over and serenity area was great and very private. Hope you have a great cruise!

We love the Glory, we've sailed her before and after her face lift. Big but not too big, easy to get around. I've never had a problem with children being on the Serenity Deck. Sailing her again in May of next year out of Miami, just us girls. [emoji267][emoji41][emoji568]

Like her. She was our first cruise, so she'll always have that special place. But then we went on the Breeze, and now Glory looks a little boring lol. I'm hooked on Cucina, and hubby and the kids are hooked on waterworks.

That being said, it is a fun ship. The shows were much better than on Breeze, and the kids liked kids camp better too. Easy to get around, plenty of room in the theater and comedy club, and very pretty- if dark. I love the colors theme.

Sailed Glory three times prior to the upgrades. Will be sailing a 4th time next year. Was a pleasure to sail on then, and with rhe upgrades it should be even better. The serenity area is enforced. Very quiet, but you must get there early in the morning. The hammocks and lounges go quickly.

You will have a great time on the Glory! I sailed the Western Caribbean route in May and really enjoyed it.

They have a fish and chips counter that serves things like fresh ceviche ( raw marinated fish/ seafood with spices) , fried oysters, soup, and fried fish. It is located on the 2nd floor of the Lido buffet.

...We absolutely loved the Glory. Sailed her before 2.0 and then again about 6 weeks ago. Great staff, not only in the MDR, but all over the ship. I'm not usually a big fan of the Playlist Production shows, but this group of dancers and singers were outstanding. One of their shows, Epic Rock, is not to be missed! So good, we watched it twice! You're going to love the Glory!

The Glory was my first cruise ever! Had a great time, and can't wait to do it all again when I sail on her this November. Definitely like the Conquest class ships - did not care much for the Ecstasy (which was a very last minute booking). The only thing I will miss on the upcoming cruise is Waterworks...

Is the "secret hot tub" the thalassotherapy pool? I thought that was an extra charge to use. If not, I'm bummed I didn't use it.

No. Glory doesn't have a thalassotherapy pool or Cloud 9 Spa so nothing to charge fees for.

Thanks! Looks like I better start saving quarters. :)

They have a quarter machine in the casino by the game things where you put quarters in and shoot them to try and win more. I don't know what the thing is called, but I always check it when walking by to see if any fell down :D

I would recommend that as opposed to carrying on a pocketful of change. May be a little heavy. Not to mention a pain when going through the metal detectors ;)
