Anita Latte Posted August 24, 2015 #27 Share Posted August 24, 2015 Thanks. :) I seriously need to try to figure out how to make these. How hard can they be? They are so good...if you walk around the ship with them, every crew member will be like, "Mmmmmm....(name of almond clusters)" Seriously wish I could remember the name. It was simple, like Florentines...
sml3 Posted August 24, 2015 #28 Share Posted August 24, 2015 Here's a photo... Suite dreams...I don't know that I'd call them cookies. They ARE very good with lattes... Quite a yummy treat if you enjoy one in the afternoon...having to walk all over the ship to assemble your treat helps. ;) Also very good with a glass of red wine... But they do not keep...we tried to save some to have with breakfast the next day and they were stale already. OH MY! I can't wait!! Hope Oasis has them! LuCruise Posted August 24, 2015 #29 Share Posted August 24, 2015 That dessert looks so yummy (and glad to see something where you don't require specialty restaurant or to be in a suite)
OfTheSeasCruiser Posted August 24, 2015 #30 Share Posted August 24, 2015 I really enjoyed the Wrapped Dates appetizer in Coastal Kitchen.
sammydh82 Posted August 24, 2015 #31 Share Posted August 24, 2015 I really enjoyed the fresh white chocolate and cranberry cookies! I found them most of the time at Cafe Promenade. We also both love the escargot in the MDR, the horseradish crusted salmon (the name may be slightly different?) in the MDR I had on Allure was delicious also. I think there was some sort of Orange Mojo glazed porkchop on the same menu that was really good as well. Sorrento's was a huge plus if you like to be out later and hitting the bars! And if you like sweets I would also suggest the Pistachio cupcake from Cupcake Cupboad (if it's still there)... that one was probably my favorite! m*u*g* Posted August 24, 2015 #32 Share Posted August 24, 2015 Hoping they still have these, but the Pretzel Dogs at the Wipeout Café beats the roast beef sandwich any day of the week. And the Boardwalk Dogs are good for a pick me up snack.
suite dreams Posted August 24, 2015 Author #33 Share Posted August 24, 2015 Oooh, my list is getting long. And sounds like the pretzel dog is giving the iconic roast beef sandwich a run for the money. I guess I will have to try both and cast my vote. Anita Latte Posted August 24, 2015 #34 Share Posted August 24, 2015 OMG...YES...I don't often indulge in hot dogs...but the dogs and the toppings of the Dog House will hit the spot if you are in the mood. They have so many different types of dogs to try too...
Rare John&LaLa Posted August 25, 2015 #35 Share Posted August 25, 2015 (edited) Salted caramel pudding in Coastal Kitchen. Absolutely to die for, available all week I really enjoyed the Wrapped Dates appetizer in Coastal Kitchen. Serrano ham wrapped dates, same as above, but only available first 4 nights I would also add the flatbread pizzas in CK as a must.
