Rare georgiacat Posted August 30, 2015 #1 Share Posted August 30, 2015 Does Carnival publish a cruise atlas? If so, how can I order one. I have searched on their website, but I cannot find where I could order one. thanks
vwrestler171 Posted August 30, 2015 #2 Share Posted August 30, 2015 What do you mean cruise atlas?
Rare georgiacat Posted August 30, 2015 Author #3 Share Posted August 30, 2015 Cruise atlas: a magazine type brochure with all of the cruises listed for a given period of time for that particular cruise line. Princess calls them "cruise atlas". It also includes other information such as floor plans.
NOSaints1 Posted August 30, 2015 #4 Share Posted August 30, 2015 You can get them at your TA
Kamloops50 Posted August 30, 2015 #5 Share Posted August 30, 2015 Not anymore . Many cruise lines are trying to get rid of them.
ObstructedView2 Posted August 30, 2015 #6 Share Posted August 30, 2015 Carnival stopped publishing a cruise atlas long ago. Have you searched for an Ebrochure? However I'm not sure if they are available any longer either. A handful of other cruise lines still publish them. Princess, Holland America... :)
ready2cruzagain Posted August 30, 2015 #7 Share Posted August 30, 2015 Carnival has not put out a "brochure" or as Princess calls it a Cruise Atlas in years.
vwrestler171 Posted August 30, 2015 #8 Share Posted August 30, 2015 Carnival actually put one out about 2 years ago. Here is the link to the online version. https://www.goccl.com/~/media/GOCCL/Files/FunLibrary/eBrochures/EB_CCL_All_Destinations.ashx

S.S.Oceanlover Posted August 30, 2015 #10 Share Posted August 30, 2015 I picked one up at a travel show earlier in the year but it has gone to the recycling can since then. CCL had a table set up at the travel show. Bill
Rare georgiacat Posted August 31, 2015 Author #11 Share Posted August 31, 2015 Thanks for the information. I may be out of luck.
llg13 Posted August 31, 2015 #12 Share Posted August 31, 2015 You can definitely get them from a TA.... They are only available from them and they have to be specially ordered from the CCL TA website.... Or so I've heard.....:p
2Ports Posted August 31, 2015 #13 Share Posted August 31, 2015 Just cause you read it on CC doesn't make it true... I'm holding in my hands (makes it tough to type!) 2 Carnival Cruise Vacation Guides - one good through April 2015, and one good through April 2017. Got 'em both at my TA. No charge. Perhaps before we go making definitive statements answering peoples questions, we should make sure we know what we're talking about...

S.S.Oceanlover Posted August 31, 2015 #15 Share Posted August 31, 2015 Huh my pvp told me they haven't printed them for years PVP's may work for CCL but they know a lot less than many people on this site. In other words a lot of them aren't very knowledgeable. Bill
kelkel2 Posted August 31, 2015 #16 Share Posted August 31, 2015 I haven't seen them in years!! I'm going to have to make some phone calls, I would really like to have a book. We would never book with a TA, but I'll sure go pick up a book!!

rkacruiser Posted September 1, 2015 #21 Share Posted September 1, 2015 Given that Norwegian and Royal Caribbean still have comprehensive cruise atlases available, I believe it is a poor marketing decision not to have them available for the general public. However, my recent impression is that there is much shifting of ships/itineraries within the brand. If so, having a hard copy of availabilities of cruises might become out-dated quickly. If they ever firm up their schedule, then it would make good marketing sense to print an atlas.

If you get an NCL brochure or cruise atlas its virtually outdated and useless as they just decided to move ships as well. Bill
