If you are a 3 star Mariner you will get 25% off the meals. 4 and 5 star Mariners get 50% off the meals.

Has anyone ever seen the Pinnacle Grill open for lunch on embarcation day?

 

PG staff assist with wheelchairs and other duties on embarkation day normally. Have never seen them open for lunch (except for special functions). We had our wedding reception in PG during embarkation.

The discount was applied the times I ate there, but I have to say I was not expecting it to be.

I don't know why I thought that, though.

We always pre-book Le Cirque and once we are on the ship -- we have gotten the discount.

yes, the discount applies to specialty restaurants. It does not apply to Master Chef's Table, Cellar Master/Sommellier dinner. But it does apply to Le Cirque, PG, Canaletto and Tamarind.
