Genting Dream's route perhaps?

Called at Alexandria, through the Suez canal and Mumbai after that.

".. the ship will begin her ocean voyage that will take her from Germany to Gibraltar, through the Mediterranean Sea and the Suez Canal, across the Indian Ocean with visits to India, Singapore, Vietnam and Hong Kong before ending at her new homeport in Guangzhou, China. .. "

Some Dream teasers for sjbdtz:

With some blocks of the next Dream Cruises (a Genting subsidiary, under NCL Holding) ship, the World Dream, in the foreground.

Dream Cruises took delivery of the Genting Dream from Meyer last autumn, it's a luxury version of NCL's Breakaway class. It was aimed on the Chinese market but after some tweaks and changes she now will be homeported in Singapore. In some way they got excluded from the China market but with their next sister ship entering service in Oct/Nov of this year you might think NCL could be interested in taking over the second ship? Although it's already half built (1/3 is at the outfitting pier at Meyer Werft, the second 1/3 part is being build inside the large building hall).. just a guess but who knows?

I think in general the forecasts for the Chinese market was inflated when these ships were all ordered (Genting Dream going to Singapore as you mention, other cruise lines such as Carnival pulling out ship deployment plans) that I can't see NCL even having much interest in taking this second ship. I think with NCL the Joy will be the one and only Chinese destination designed ship.

Not for the Chinese or Asia market but taking over the ship during the final construction phase and deploying it somewhere else, despite theme/decoration. Would not be the first time NCL would do something similar.

They could do a spirit on it and cram lots of extra cabins in.

Yeah I remenber the Norwegian Spriti which was one of Star Cruises ship named SuperStar Leo. It was meant for the Asian Market until NCL had to rush this ship due to problems with the Pride.

They could do the same thing with the joy if it doesn't meet NCL expectations down the road and gets isolated from the China Market. They may do some renovations though.

".. the launch of Norwegian Joy - NCLH’s first ever new ship built specially for the China market and fully customized to Chinese preferences, launching in July 2017.

There will be a showcase for this new ship in Singapore and Hong Kong in May and June with details to be announced shortly, Odell explained."

Interesting. Bliss doesn't show any cabins on 16 right now but these show the spa and (I would assume) haven spa cabins like on the Escape. I see a Food Republic (yeah!) and a tea room instead of the District, and lots of shopping. With the two tea rooms, more shopping and a larger casino (not to mention the race track and laser tag) I'm betting these are for the Joy.

Yeah, that was the intent of my post but I wasn't very clear. Its nice seeing a Food Republic feature on the Waterfront!

It's nteresting that Entourage and the video arcade were dropped down to a lower deck. I always thought Entourage took up some prime real estate on the BA and BA+.

I think the "Joy Theater" and "Joy tea room" on deck 7 gave it away. :p:)

Meh... Needs more Casino and tea rooms.

Honestly - I could have nightmares after seeing those deck plans. Stuck on a ship, but everywhere you turn your familiar watering hole has been replaced with a tea room. I'll end up huddled in a corner at Food Republic.
