stuiow Posted October 8, 2015 #1 Share Posted October 8, 2015 Hi all, Off on my 2 week cruise on the 27th Novemeber with P&O. Quite a big event for me, never flown, never left British shores so it's all new to me. The islands I will be visiting are:- Barbados, Aruba, Grand Caymen, Ocho Rios, Amber Cove, Tortola, St Maartin, St Luciaand Grenada. What currency should I change to before I go for these islands? Many thanks, Stuart
bee-ess Posted October 8, 2015 #2 Share Posted October 8, 2015 Just take US $ - they are accepted everywhere in Caribbean. Take small denomination notes as you sometime get change in local currency.
LondonTowner Posted October 8, 2015 #3 Share Posted October 8, 2015 Yes, USD are the best currency in the Caribbean. We also have CCs which make no charges for foreign transactions. Have a look at the Halifax Clarity card.

Esprit Posted October 8, 2015 #6 Share Posted October 8, 2015 That's a great itinerary for your first holiday abroad You are in for a fantastic time. I'd recommend the Stingray swim in Grand Cayman and water jet skiing in St Maartens Bay. The Dolphin swim in Tortola is a must do too

Many thanks, Stuart You won't need any money ( At least that's what I tell the better half ). US Dollars all the way, but try not to get too much change, or you will bring home lots of momento's.
