Liberty of the seas: getting from Houston to Galveston

So what are the less expensive options from getting from IAH (Houston) to a Galveston hotel in early January?

Looking for what others have done.

The one time (and only) we cruised from Galveston we used Royal Carriage Limo. They were prompt and drove perfectly espically as the trip was in a heavy rainfall. I have also used them Houston while on business and they gave the exact same quality of service.

We used Cool Tours last year. Prompt service. Nice new Nissan SUV. The price seemed comparable to other services. This was not a shared ride.

We used Super Shuttle and were happy with the service.

Used Galveston Limo shuttle service. Very happy with them. However, last time I checked prices (2014) found RC transfer to be same or cheaper than many of services, which very unusual.

Can someone advise if there is a "sharing transport" thread. Travelling from the UK on 2 April arriving Houston around 7pm terminal E (on 2nd) and need to travel direct to Galveston where we have booked a guest house. Departing on Liberty on 3rd. Galveston express can't accommodate us on the 6pm shuttle, can't wait for us to clear customs - next shuttle is at 9pm, too late after a very long day, many thanks
