Rare orville99 Posted January 8, 2016 #76 Share Posted January 8, 2016 It has always been gold card holders (GS suites and up plus Pinnacles) that I know of. The crew members at the entrance gate have a list of those people and their stateroom number. They check that first before you can enter. On Brilliance last week it was for D+, Pinnacle, and Suites in Chops. I guess it depends on which ship you're on.
cello56 Posted January 8, 2016 #77 Share Posted January 8, 2016 We are turning Diamond Plus in March. Yeah!! What is this Diamond Amenity that we will get to choose? Also, are the tours available on every cruise? Do we have to let them know in advance that we wish to participate? What areas do they tour in addition to the backstage tour that we get now? Thanks!! You will be given a list of tours to choose from once you are onboard. They normally include the Bridge, Galley, and Theater. Once you turn Diamond Plus, the website will have additional selections for gifts in the Profile section. The list will include some choices of wine, beach towels, sparkling water, etc. Edited January 8, 2016 by clarea

Tours are offered on cruises of 5 days or longer. You will receive an invitation from the Loyalty Ambassador in your cabin (usually on the first evening) with the tours that are available. You check which ones you're interested in taking and then return the invitation to the LA (the deadline is printed on the invitation. On Brilliance last week we had three choices: Bridge, Galley, and backstage. We did the Bridge and Galley tours (we did the backstage tour the last time we were on Brilliance so we skipped it this time. As for amenities, once you turn D+, you'll see an additional pull own menu on your gift preferences page. Choice among a half dozen fruit/cheese plates; slippers a C&A logo beach towel, and about 20 different wine choices. YOU get to pick one/cabin. Another thing to keep in mind is that if you happen to be on a cruise with hundreds of D, D+ and P's the bridge tours may not be offered.
