If any of your party tries to use non-refundable OBC in the casino (for cash or casino play), please let me know how that goes. I have $300 OBC from when I booked our Feb. 6th sailing a year ago, plus $100 from RCI VISA bonus points. I would much rather cash it in than spend it on board, but several threads lately have reported that Oasis is no longer allowing that.

 

Even if you don't try to cash any of yours in, you might hear other passengers discussing it. Would love to hear anything about what is actually going on this year. Thanks!

Awesome! Thanks for the update! Our flight leaves here at 4:50pm and we get in around 8:15pm. Getting all the last minute things takes care of.

 

We're waiting to hear that you made it. Any pictures of Oasis coming into port?

Good morning fll!! Sorry I couldn't post last night, just to much going on. We arrived 30 mins early which was great but we had no gate to pull into 😡 so we sat on the runway for 15 mins. Ughhhh... but any way a pretty uneventful flight. So nice it's only 2 hours, we're used to 4 to 6 hours flights. Our bff's flew in today from San diego, they missed their flight tho, whoooops! Luckily there was one a couple hours later so the actually arrived about 30 mins before us. We all got cabs and made it over to the Hyatt Pier 66. The cab ride was about $16. Not bad at all.

The hotel is pretty nice. I booked like I said through a bidding site, you know the dude with mad cow ( some of you may get that especially if you're from Boston) [emoji41] now when I booked I was actually able to tell it a room choice and Jr suites were one of the options so I knew it was the pier 66. The tower rooms are nice, but I'm hearing the garden rooms, not so much [emoji21] and they paid more for the garden rooms. Eek!

 

 

They said the only room they had left was not facing the port [emoji26] but it does have a nice view of the inlet and the ocean. I think it's because I used that bidding site, oh well I saved a ton a money.

So ya I was pretty excited about seeing Oasis pull in, I set my alarm for 430am. Actually woke up to a crying kid (no not ours) walls a pretty thin round these parts. Walked outside and bam I'm like oh crap I'm too late, a ship was passing by but then I saw the "x" and knew it was the Equinox! Awesome sight tho.

 

Just barley caught it. I could see a spec out towards the water and thought I hope that's Oasis and she hadn't docked yet. I pulled up marine traffic and yup Oasis is still coming in[emoji4]

And just so you all know, I rarely take photos in the portrait position. I usually make a slide show that can be watched on tv, so why have all that blank space in the picture. The tvs' are made for widescreen type pics so I don't even waste my time with them. Just a bit a trivia for ya [emoji41]

Love staying at the Pier 66 and watching the ships come in. We always choose a tower room as well.

WOW, great photos! We can see the ship from our room, but the sun is not letting us get a good shot, so I'm glad you got the ones from the roof of the Hyatt. :)
