Tried To Reserve 4 Specialty Restaurants

I just want to be clear on this.

We were given as a promotion both the 4 dinner package and the drink package when we booked The Jewel for our upcoming cruise.

When I went to reserve the dinners, most dining venues now said "a la carte".

We are still awarded those dinners, are we not?

Especially since we already paid the service charges for them.

Thanks for any help.

-Confused ???

It might say "a la carte" but you are still able to book. Your "perk" will cover the cost when you dine so long as you don't have two mains.

Your room card will show that you have the "perk", the bill will be made up as if you are a "normal" guest and then will be zeroed when the "perk" is taken into account.

Our TA recommended we take the Specialty Dining Package as one of our bonuses but we wondered if the restaurants were only open in the evenings or if lunch is possible? I don't eat large meals in the evening but do enjoy a big lunch on sea days.

On some ships, Teppanyaki is open on sea days for lunch. Check your freestyle daily for the schedule. When it is open, it's the same menu as dinnertime, and you can use a SDP credit.
