curtdesilets Posted December 30, 2015 #1 Share Posted December 30, 2015 I just want to be clear on this. We were given as a promotion both the 4 dinner package and the drink package when we booked The Jewel for our upcoming cruise. When I went to reserve the dinners, most dining venues now said "a la carte". We are still awarded those dinners, are we not? Especially since we already paid the service charges for them. Thanks for any help. -Confused ???
Linda the Book Lover Posted December 30, 2015 #2 Share Posted December 30, 2015 Yes, you still get the dinners and the drinks. You need to call to make your reservations. Eat, drink, and be merry we plan to as we enjoy the same promotion!:)
NLH Arizona Posted December 30, 2015 #3 Share Posted December 30, 2015 Cagney's, Le Bistro and La Cucina should all be available to you with your dining package, along with Moderno and the Teppanyaki restaurant. Did you try to make reservations? If you did an it wouldn't let you, you should call NCL.
casofilia Posted December 30, 2015 #4 Share Posted December 30, 2015 It might say "a la carte" but you are still able to book. Your "perk" will cover the cost when you dine so long as you don't have two mains. Your room card will show that you have the "perk", the bill will be made up as if you are a "normal" guest and then will be zeroed when the "perk" is taken into account. curtdesilets Posted December 30, 2015 Author #5 Share Posted December 30, 2015 Thanks for all of your responses. Yes, all 4 venues are reserved but some said "zero" charge and some said "a la carte"when I was choosing my times. I am sure it will all work out in the long run. We are only 10 days away from cruising!
comcox Posted December 31, 2015 #6 Share Posted December 31, 2015 Our TA recommended we take the Specialty Dining Package as one of our bonuses but we wondered if the restaurants were only open in the evenings or if lunch is possible? I don't eat large meals in the evening but do enjoy a big lunch on sea days.
xcell Posted December 31, 2015 #7 Share Posted December 31, 2015 No lunches...mostly evening except the Escape where margaritaville is open but that (imho) is a wasted credit Sent from my SM-N910W8 using Tapatalk

When it is open, it's the same menu as dinnertime, and you can use a SDP credit.
