nvgal Posted January 16, 2016 #51 Share Posted January 16, 2016 I have always brought a bottle of my favorite vodka onboard. If I choose the prestige package I won't need to carryon, correct?:D

Iamthesea Posted January 16, 2016 #53 Share Posted January 16, 2016 It is possible to carry a drink back to the cabin, but most Oceania Bartenders will suggest, almost insist really, that you allow them to send it to the cabin, so that it may be properly served and presented. You'll find it, or them, perfectly chilled and sitting on a salver. Priceless ;) Nice! Is this for all categories of staterooms? And do you have to be on the Prestige package? or can you order and have a charge? I have always brought a bottle of my favorite vodka onboard. If I choose the prestige package I won't need to carryon, correct?:D Is this allowed? Can't tskeliquor on other cruiselines...only wine. Yes, Any stateroom category and with or without the package! Is this allowed? Can't take liquor on other cruiselines...only wine. I believe that they meant that they have brought Vodka onboard previously with Oceania, and that IS allowed! :D

Iamthesea Posted January 16, 2016 #56 Share Posted January 16, 2016 Hmmm...that interesting and may be a game changer for me purchasing the package. But then again, if we can have afternoon drinks of any type delivered to the stateroom, that sure would be nice. :D

However, when checking the website it shows a beverage package option but when selected there is nothing actually available. No pricing, etc. I remember checking back a couple of months ago and pricing was there. Does anyone know if this is possibly related to the new promotion? Any ideas on pricing? cotto22 Posted January 18, 2016 #58 Share Posted January 18, 2016 The pricing is still there. It is 59.95 per day for the premium, and 39.95 for the House Select. I would do a link, but it is not available on the format menu, sorry. Here is the url:https://www.oceaniacruises.com/experience/value/beverage-packages/ HTH. What am I missing?
fred 15 Posted January 19, 2016 #60 Share Posted January 19, 2016 I wouldn't worry about which Rum they use in a Pina Colada, but in a Martini, it makes a difference. Rum in a martini?

I think you are missing the question regarding the drinks package and cabin delivery. I purchased the premium package and I am still not sure if they would deliver a drink to my cabin. I never got a consistent answer from either room service or from a bar on a recent Regatta cruise where I DID ask for an after dinner drink to be delivered to my cabin (one yes) from casino bar), two said no (room service phone and bar by MDR). YMMV. John
Iamthesea Posted January 19, 2016 #62 Share Posted January 19, 2016 (edited) I've sailed on 18 cruise lines over the course of 45 years, and never came across a Line that would not deliver cocktails to my cabin, as long as I was willing to pay for it.What am I missing? I guess that we never tried it, it they were available on Celebrity. However, I am pretty sure that if they were available for room service, we could not have a drink delivered with the beverage package. I guess we could have one that was charged to the room. cotto22 Posted January 19, 2016 #63 Share Posted January 19, 2016 Perhaps I am misunderstanding the question, because it is pretty simple to answer. If you have the premium beverage package, you can have drinks delivered to your room. We did that daily on our last cruise on Insignia.

I've done this on Celebrity...hoping O allows it also.
