Status Change On Back-Back

We will turn D+ after an upcoming 7 night cruise, and this is part of a back to back, will will enjoy D+ status on the 2nd leg of the back to back ? Didn't know how long RCCL would take to update their system to show new status...

Yes you will, but you will have to go and see the Loyalty Manager during the first cruise for him/her to update your status on the ship for the second leg. The 'system' won't work that quick!

Ok so Sea Pass will read Diamond, and we will have it changed by Loyalty Manager ?

Yes. When we did it a few years ago they just put a sticker on the card and updated the ships computer. Shouldn't be a problem.

It wouldn't hurt to have a printout of your cruise points so there is no issue of your new level.

officially it takes about ten days for the system to be updated.

 

UNOFFICIALLY just head on down to the Loyalty ambassador on the first leg. they can usually make it happen immediately.

For quite a while now, the updates have happened exactly on Day 6 post-cruise.

A year ago during our 3 cruises from Sydney Australia, we made Emerald at the end of our NZ cruise, then during the Transpacific moved right up to Diamond, the Hawaii cruise back to Vancouver was part of a b2b and we received our D status immediately going into the Hawaii.
