Do you want Princess to return to Bermuda

Another reason stated at the time was the depth of the harbour. Princess has ships that can not get into the harbour and they need to berth outside and all passengers needed to take a bus or a ferry into town. Both at passenger cost. Also Princess wanted to keep their casino open while inport Bermuda due to many people not leaving and they were told no. There are many reasons Princess does not go there and they would have to be resolved first.

The casinos can open at 9:00 pm and stay open until 5:00 am so that is resolved for several years. Princess ships can get into the Dockyard. A new berth was built there that can handle super mega ships. Both Anthem of the Seas and NCL Breakaway dock there. Princess ships are able to get into the harbor dock at the other Dockyard berth where Celebrity Summit docks for three days every week. Most of their fleet could always do that. Explorer of he Seas and Liberty of the Seas did that for years with no problem. Pacific Princess can dock in Hamilton and St. George's. There is no technical reason that Princess could not do Bermuda. They have made a business decision not to.

Yesssss! And sail from Baltimore please. We need more cruises leaving from the mid-atlantic.

You've got other cruise lines leaving from Baltimore. ;)

We're now in FL and I miss those opportunities to sail to Bermuda as we have no ships at all doing round trips.

Great place.

I also live in Florida and have been looking for a Bermuda cruise. Carnival is offering two round trip cruises from Florida in 2018-March 2018 from Jacksonville and October 2018 from Ft. Lauderdale. I am considering the October 2018 cruise and going on Carnival.

I'm sorry but I can't sympathize with you. I look forward to someday relocating to Florida where I can have my choice of multiple departure ports, cruise lines, and itineraries. I would love to jump on one of those last minute deals that my in laws always get, be able to move up to elite by doing those b2b short cruises and I drool over those reposition cruises to Europe and LA. Bermuda is my favorite Island but I would give it up to be in your situation.

Not exactly excited about hearing Carnival although Oct might not be to bad.

March doesn't appeal to me since #1 it's school break and being Carnival it attracts kids.

March might be good golf weather. It is not beach season in Bermuda.

Neither is October but it is still nice to be there at that time of year.

Living in FL we're at a beach twice a week so if I miss a few days it's still OK.

Bermuda's beaches are usually cool mid Sept.

I went to Bermuda four times in September and the air temperature was warm as was the water temperature. The problem with September is dodging hurricanes.

I can't imagine where the ship would go in Sept if you were scheduled to go to Bermuda & a storm were brewing . The shut down that port quickly and there's not much else to choose from.

Two times left a day early, one time a day late. If they can't do Bermuda they do the Bahamas or Canada.
