Rare cruisestitch Posted February 15, 2016 Author #13 Share Posted February 15, 2016 Ah, you know me too well, yes, waffles came first! A couple of things I have learned so far. Enomatic machines are still here for now. The same with Molecular Bar. There's no indications when they will change. The seas are a bit night, so tonight's production show is postponed and there will be a singer. I'll get her name later. I haven't been to the casino yet, not Bistro on 5, but I will stop by bother later today. The ambient music level is delightful. That's been a real pet peeve of mine. So far no annoyingly loud music has been in evidence! There are no longer any iced teas listed on the menu at Cafe Al Bacio, but they can still be ordered. More later..... Bo1953 Posted February 15, 2016 #16 Share Posted February 15, 2016 We just left Silly on 14 Feb 15 and missed the first night comedian in Quasar, Al Ducharme was on our last night, there is a singer, the new X big show called Life, was overall, very good singing, dancing and cirque style intermingled. There was a show on the pool deck one evening along with the DJ. Dancing in the atrium to the house band early, then changes over to DJ's. Sky lounge was very quiet for the most part, from my experience on several visits. If anyone see's Vasilly at QSine, tell him Samuel says hello, he is a great server and helpful. If you get to Murano, ask for Walter, great great waiter.... Enjoy and have fun... bon voyage

Rare cruisestitch Posted February 15, 2016 Author #18 Share Posted February 15, 2016 Internet seems quite slow on my iPad, but speed is fine in the ILounge. They say that they hear that fast internet is on its way but have no timeline. Molecular Bar is on the way out, will be changed over to World Class Bar on or about February 24. I spoke to the staff in Bistro on 5 who say that they are aware of rumors regarding a sushi bar there, but have heard nothing official.

Would appreciate info on cashing in OBC in the casino - is it still possible to cash in non-refundable OBC for the 5% fee? We were on last week and I posted on the OBC thread. cb747 Posted February 16, 2016 #23 Share Posted February 16, 2016 HI, I'm on the 7/1 sailing from Amsterdam. I'm a terrible sleeper so I booked an inside cabin #1144 on the 10th deck. When I look at the ship's schematic I see a white space above my cabin. Would you be so kind as to see what that white space is being used as? Or, if you have the time, can you ask the people in 1144 if it's a quite cabin? I appreciate any info. you can obtain as my Dec. cruise had a white space next to me and I was promised that it didn't have anything "noisy" in it. Well, that wasn't so. Every morning promptly at 7:30 AM it sounded like a train was going through my cabin for about 10 seconds. Needless to say, I woke up early and was exhausted during the day. Many thanks, Chantal
bravostar Posted February 16, 2016 #24 Share Posted February 16, 2016 I'm sailing on the 28th. Would appreciate info on cashing in OBC in the casino - is it still possible to cash in non-refundable OBC for the 5% fee? We were on the Silhouette last month and got cash from the casino twice with fee of course. Yes, it was used towards our non-refundable credit.
