DFWJean&Bill Posted February 15, 2016 #1 Share Posted February 15, 2016 We were just on Adventure. They left our fridge empty. I asked if we could have it stocked with bottles of water (I like buying the big bottles, tend to drink more if I can just buy from fridge). We were told to call room service for water. Our DR tablemates also said empty. Is this new on all ships? If so, why not convert fridge to storage area?
Clarea Posted February 15, 2016 #2 Share Posted February 15, 2016 Have not seen empty fridges yet. On our 3 most recent cruises, the fridge has been filled with stuff to buy.
Tee & Chilli Posted February 16, 2016 #3 Share Posted February 16, 2016 I was on Adventure in December. The fridge was stocked however I removed the items to make room for the soda and water I brought on board.
Rare John&LaLa Posted February 16, 2016 #4 Share Posted February 16, 2016 We had an accessible cabin on Enchantment once. It had a real fridge and it was empty. Only time I've ever seen that
leaveitallbehind Posted February 16, 2016 #5 Share Posted February 16, 2016 (edited) Ours have always been filled on every cruise as well. And have removed stuff as well (with Stateroom Attendants knowledge) to replace with our items that we wanted to keep chilled. cb at sea Posted February 16, 2016 #6 Share Posted February 16, 2016 Most folks WANT it empty for their own stuff.....
pjnj40 Posted February 16, 2016 #7 Share Posted February 16, 2016 Most folks WANT it empty for their own stuff..... True and to prevent anything missing in the inventory. Hotels used to do mini bars in ac but now it all empty because it a waste of time. People used it for their own stuff like you said.
