Teli511 Posted February 18, 2016 #1 Share Posted February 18, 2016 My sister-in-law and I are looking at taking a girls only cruise. We want to relax, shop, and enjoy the sun. We are wanting to go in May 2016. Any advice on locations and ships would be great! Thanks!
Krazy Kruizers Posted February 18, 2016 #2 Share Posted February 18, 2016 Welcome to Cruise Critic. How much do you want to spend? Where do the girls want to go? Caribbean in May is cheap but limited ships as the majority of the ships have already left for Europe, Alaska and Canada/New England. Alaska, Europe and some Canada/New England cruises can be expensive or can be cheap if the ships are not filling up but to get to some of the European ports air fare may be expensive. What type of cabin are thinking about? How many will be going?
Rare Keith1010 Posted February 18, 2016 #3 Share Posted February 18, 2016 Sound like you will want the Caribbean. Not sure your ages. For those say 20's to 40's I would look at one of the Royal Caribbean Cruises. I would look at Eastern Caribbean for shopping. Keith
Clarea Posted February 18, 2016 #4 Share Posted February 18, 2016 My sister-in-law and I are looking at taking a girls only cruise. We want to relax, shop, and enjoy the sun. We are wanting to go in May 2016. Any advice on locations and ships would be great! Thanks! I would look a Caribbean cruise. You have several choices out of Florida. Another option with a shorter flight would be Galveston.

Teli511 Posted February 18, 2016 Author #6 Share Posted February 18, 2016 Thanks for all the help! We are pretty much up for any suggestions. Which ships are better, locations, etc. we are in our mid 20's to 30's. As for room type, we are just looking for a good deal:) it doesn't have to be extremely cheap but we do want to get the most for our money of course:)
cb at sea Posted February 18, 2016 #7 Share Posted February 18, 2016 RCI, NCL or Carnival would probably suit you best...in reality, it's all about you girls...the ship is just a vehicle for your fun!
cruiseapril Posted February 19, 2016 #8 Share Posted February 19, 2016 We would do a 7 day Eastern on RCI or maybe a 4 day Bahamas on the RCI Enchantment.
SuiteTraveler Posted February 19, 2016 #9 Share Posted February 19, 2016 The best spas at sea are onboard NCL's newest ships: Epic Getaway Breakaway Escape You might want to think of a spa cabin onboard one of those ships if you two like spas. The spa has: water circuit hot tub heated tile loungers dry sauna sanarium salt room steam room rainfall showers snow room (Escape only)
