Celebrity Cruise Cancellation Email

Recommended Posts

The OP had posted reservation numbers and personal info and a couple people quoted it. There was a request to remove that very private info from a public forum.

The Mods did the right thing!

Yes, that's what happened. IMO, this was a case of TMI (too much information). To protect the member, I removed the post with their booking number, and any subsequent references.

 

I hope the OP will return, and advise us of the outcome.

Hopefully everything is okay. I had a similar email sent to me a couple of years ago. The email looked like Celebrity had cancelled my cruise but when I investigated it (after freaking out) I found out it was just a specialty restaurant booking that their system had cancelled and my cruise was okay.

SOP for a cancelled cruise:

1. Immediately post a rant on Cruise Critic

2. Call the cruise line after reading CC responses

3. Never return when you find out you should have executed step 2 before step 1.
