Splendor Departure Time

I'm scheduled to sail on the May 26th Journey Cruise on the Splendor. I was surprised to see such a late departure time: 6:00 p.m. Is that normal, or does anyone know why it leaves so late?

I would be asking on the Carnival board. I would assume they have planned their routing, and the time works.

And of course I jumped to the conclusion it was Splendor of the Seas, when it could be Carnival Splendor...

Don't think it's Royal's Splendour, she is in Europe or Asia.

Some ships leave that late.

 

The one I regularly take leaves anywhere from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

Feel free to join the roll call for that cruise at Carnival Splendor May 26, 2016.

 

This late departure was not normal for this cruise. Carnival sent out a letter moving the departure time back from 4pm to 6pm, although boarding times are still the same. They also switched the order of the Grand Turk/Amber Cove port days.
