jocap Posted March 30, 2016 #9 Share Posted March 30, 2016 According to today's paper, the woman attended Saturday evening's Mass at 8pm, and was seen close to the church later. She appears to have been in the water by 10pm. It would be dark by then, so she was fortunate to be found. The Marco Polo had left well before then, some say at 8pm. On the discussion page highlighted further up this page, it says that the MP is a charter line- no, she is part of Cruise& Maritime's fleet, which has several ships doing year-round cruises. Treven Posted March 31, 2016 #10 Share Posted March 31, 2016 As I posted on the other thread, I'd sure love to be a fly on the wall when the two of them got back home. Wonder if there would be a referee there or perhaps a divorce lawyer.😎
Rare sprint180 Posted March 31, 2016 #11 Share Posted March 31, 2016 (edited) That is funny. I wouldn't try that at 46 let alone 65. Obviously not a swimmer here. No I can't imagine the conversation after! Thanks for posting. Edited March 31, 2016 by sprint180
jocap Posted April 1, 2016 #12 Share Posted April 1, 2016 Perhaps she became disoriented, being outside a church near to the sea in the dark, and fell in. The people in the church recognised the woman as being part of the congregation that night, and she was seen outside shortly before being discovered in the sea. Rare babs135 Posted April 1, 2016 Author #13 Share Posted April 1, 2016 It would be interesting to have a follow up to this story, but I suspect we will never know the truth. Perhaps the poor lady had a 'psychotic' episode? The original article did say she was admitted to a psychiatric unit. Whatever the reason, she is one lucky lady. moniquet Posted April 2, 2016 #14 Share Posted April 2, 2016 The Husband has not yet made contact with the authorities. Perhaps she has early dementia.
