callmedeb Posted April 8, 2016 #1 Share Posted April 8, 2016 If I'm travelling as a solo, am I allowed to bring one, or two, bottles aboard?
Jase0581 Posted April 8, 2016 #2 Share Posted April 8, 2016 You can bring aboard 1 bottle of wine per adult in the stateroom without paying the $15 corkage fee if it is consumed in the cabin. Thus as a solo you can bring 1 bottle without the fee and any additional bottles will get charged the $15 fee.
Thrak Posted April 8, 2016 #3 Share Posted April 8, 2016 Yep. 1 bottle per person whether it is a 1 day cruise or a 17 day cruise or a 28 day cruise or... One size fits nobody kind of a thing.
paul929207 Posted April 8, 2016 #4 Share Posted April 8, 2016 One per adult at the beginning of each leg. So if your cruise is a b2b or is also sold as a b2b, you can bring one at the beginning and one on each turnaround day. Additional bottles each embarkation day incur a $15 corkage fee
satxdiver Posted April 8, 2016 #5 Share Posted April 8, 2016 Our last cruise was a B2B and we brought on 4 bottles of wine sans the corkage fee. The other 4 bottles, we paid the fee of $60 (4x$15). The charge did not appear on our account until Thursday of the first cruise (both 7 day starting Sunday). I had begun to wonder if they were going to collect their ounce of flesh! callmedeb Posted April 11, 2016 Author #6 Share Posted April 11, 2016 Thanks all! I was kind of hoping that since everything else doubles when you cruise single, the wine would too. ;) Deb

atdahop Posted April 12, 2016 #8 Share Posted April 12, 2016 Would you be able to buy a bottle of wine at the first port, San Francisco, and bring it on? Or is it only when boarding at the start of the cruise?

Or is it only when boarding at the start of the cruise? We have in the past. If they let us do this, I'm sure the $15 corkage fee will apply when bringing it on. midwestchick Posted April 12, 2016 #10 Share Posted April 12, 2016 Is wine the only thing you can bring onboard? What about bourbon or beer?
suzyed Posted April 12, 2016 #11 Share Posted April 12, 2016 Is wine the only thing you can bring onboard? What about bourbon or beer? Nope...no bourbon (or any kind of liquor) and no beer. Wine or champagne only.
caribill Posted April 12, 2016 #12 Share Posted April 12, 2016 Is wine the only thing you can bring onboard? What about bourbon or beer? Instead of wine, you could bring Champagne. All other alcohol is not supposed to be brought on board by passengers.
