Sailor Jack, That was an amazingly well written, funny review. I really enjoyed it and being a current resident of Arizona with relatives in Alabama and... being a die hard Boston Bruins fan(sorry about 2011!) you checked all the boxes. Thanks for the laughs!!

Jim

Glad you enjoyed it. As there is a strong rivalry between Georgia and Alabama I occasionally take a good-natured shot at Alabama, but a BRUIN fan.

another epic Sailorjack review - all you first timers need to read the rest of his reviews - especially the Dream/Nightmare one.

thanks Jack!

Thanks. I am reminded of the old Groucho Marx comment, "If I had known I was going o live this long I would have taken better care of myself." If I had known that the Dream review would have been around this long I would have taken more care in writing it!:)

Thank's for a great review. We loved the Miracle, but then we enjoyed all of our cruises.

Glad you enjoyed it. Like you, we have never had a bad cruise. Perhaps some more memorable than others, but all good.

The marina in Cabo was packed with charter boats. The waters off Cabo are loaded with game fish and people come from all over the world to fish here. We once spent an enjoyable day fishing for marlin but got skunked - not even a close one. But it was an enjoyable day.

Of course, people bring their own boats to Cabo and we saw boats from up and down the west coast - like the big sea going yacht in the background.

Although I really enjoyed your review, my need to file frivolous lawsuits compels me to take you up on your offer to sue you. My private investigator firms are busy investigating all of your off shore accounts so that we may demand an appropriate amount of compensatory damages. The basis of this suit is simple, I could not find the "Don't Shoot--We are not drug people" T-Shirts anywhere :)

Cabo is a sport fishing capital of North America and Marlin is king here.

Shops and stores surrounded the marina.

And it is definitely aimed at tourists. You would be hard pressed to find a sign in Spanish.

Three times !!! Three times that I laughed out loud ( a.k.a. LOL ) and spat out my food / drink as I was reading this during dinner.

Well, I may have laughed out loud when I saw your screen name! ( I assume there is an interesting story behind that choice):D Glad you enjoyed it.

Tourists weren't the only visitors to the marina.:)

This little fellow apparently lives in the marina according to someone sharing our table at a seaside pub.

Speaking of whales, we saw a lot of them as we entered the harbor. Cabo is a great whale watching location. Several years ago we had a hotel room facing the beach and would sit out on our balcony and watch the whales go by on their way up North.

We have arrived in Mazatlan! The sun was just starting to come out and the morning haze had not yet burned off. It was really a magical moment for us as we awaited docking at the pier.

The sun is up and shining and it looks like it is going to be a glorious day in Mazatlan. I took these photos of the harbor area as we ate breakfast on the back deck next to Serenity.

As we were forewarned, security was tight.

Their were armed guards not only at the port. but around town as well.

On the other hand, we were greeted by some very attractive greeters wearing festive Mexican attire.

I guess because of all the security arrangements, it took while before we could leave the ship. Here security is getting set up for deboarding.

The next thing we saw were these shuttle busses lining up. Apparently we could not walk to the terminal as the sign quite clearly indicated that they were COMPULSORY!:) (I also liked the flames!)

The first lucky passengers are off to Mazatlan. If you notice the gentleman standing up in the front - he is a tour guide. That's right - we had a tour guide from the ship to the terminal - which was about 300 hundred yards.
