Rare PaulMCO Posted April 23, 2016 #1 Share Posted April 23, 2016 Nautica did a great job of preparing a traditional Seder last night. 80 guests attended in the Terrace Cafe - where 1/2 the restaurant was set aside for the Seder. It was most ironic that we had just left Egypt and were traveling to Egypt. Menu was -- Gefilte Fish Chopped Liver Consomme with Matzoh Ball Green Salad Roasted Kosher Chicken or Baked Cod Passover Chocolate Cake and Macaroons Of course a traditional meal had a Seder plate with of course Manischewitz wine... :) Happy Pesach

tanny18 Posted April 23, 2016 #6 Share Posted April 23, 2016 And Happy Passover to you and Mindy. We were on Nautica in 2012 and we too had a great Seder. We were over 100 and we had dinner outside on the pool deck. Even had a few of us actually do a mini-Seder. Hope the matzo balls were a little fluffier than the ones we had!! smoothsailors Posted April 23, 2016 #8 Share Posted April 23, 2016 Thank you...this is very nice to know what Oceania makes available. (Previously we've sailed on HAL when away on Passover as we knew they arrange a Seder so glad that Oceania is another option.) Enjoy Jerusalem and a Sweet & Happy Holiday! Aloha 1 Posted April 28, 2016 #9 Share Posted April 28, 2016 That was MIA. But we had mini Matzoh and today many of us are in Jerusalem. Glad to hear O has returned to Israel. We were planning our 3rd visit on Riviera in Fall, 2014, but O pulled the plug given the Hamas terrorism.

Could not upload on Nautica as they restrict access to Photobucket -- but here is the menu.
