I just received an email offering voom surf and stream for an upcoming Navigator cruise for 30% off ($11.99 a day). Can you actually stream on the Navigator or are they just fooling me?

You might get good streaming performance at 3am, when usage is very low.

Thanks, I was wondering and thought it was too good to be true. I don't feel like face timing or streaming in the middle of the night.

One 24-hour period can be purchased for $20.

 

You can still take two 750ml bottles of wine onboard.

 

Fleetwide wine packages are gone, however the ship may offer their own wine package. Check with your dining staff.

We spent about 30 days on Vision during 2015/6. Internet was fine for email and texting, but was very poor if you wanted to do any kind of real-time video.

Was just in the Cruise Planner for our upcoming cruise on Anthem and the only Voom offering was Surf and stream. What happened to surf only or the basic Royal IQ text communication?

Surf went away for booking online about Nov - available only on the ship (but at current prices Stream pre-cruise is cheaper than Surf on the ship). RoyalIQ texting is only available from within the app once onboard.
