kevinyork Posted May 4, 2016 #4 Share Posted May 4, 2016 Oh dear. Poor passengers. Why he is still employed by P&O is beyond me. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
mandylennon Posted May 5, 2016 Author #5 Share Posted May 5, 2016 Thanks for your replies. Thought he would still be on board. We are not too keen on him, but on our cruise last October on Ventura he was actually quite funny when filling in while there was a technical issue with a live show. But apart from then we didn't see him at all (we heard him through the tv).
Balaena Posted May 5, 2016 #6 Share Posted May 5, 2016 Each to their own, we find him to be visible, funny, enthusiastic and an all round great guy and entertainment manager .. one of the very best. bal
kevinyork Posted May 5, 2016 #7 Share Posted May 5, 2016 Our main memory of our two cruises where he was onboard was his minimal involvement in the Great British Sailaway. He handed out flags, and by handed out he stood in one spot waiting for passengers to collect flags from him. Once the music started he disappeared. Natalie Milverton was on Britannia for its transatlantic in March when we were expecting Neil Oliver.

Scriv Posted May 10, 2016 #10 Share Posted May 10, 2016 (edited) Natalie used to be brilliant a few years ago on Oriana, but sadly seems to have learnt how to become invisible since then if our last cruise where she was EM was anything to go by. whoops Posted May 11, 2016 #13 Share Posted May 11, 2016 I returned last week from a cruise on the Ventura. I thought Hughie was hilarious whereas the rest of the entertainment team were stilted. Hughie was very visible and while I have heard some of his jokes before they still make me laugh.
