Cruisin4beaches Posted June 7, 2016 #1 Share Posted June 7, 2016 Just read the Norwegian Sky will leave Miami and go to China. Does anyone know which ship will replace her? My guess will be The Pearl.

tggs726 Posted June 7, 2016 #8 Share Posted June 7, 2016 I read this in an online interview with NCL President Andy Stuart posted this morning. Do a search for Norwegian Sky news and you can read it. I found the article now. The person writing the article clearly used the wrong name in that sentence. They say "Norwegian is currently gearing up to operate the Norwegian Sky in China, which was developed and designed specifically to serve the Chinese vacationer." The Joy is the ship they are refering to that was developed and designed for the Chinese market.

vicocala Posted June 7, 2016 #15 Share Posted June 7, 2016 I look forward to the Breakaway doing the western Caribbean. Where will it be home ported? After March it will be the only large NCL ship I haven't sailed in.
FranknBeans Posted June 7, 2016 #16 Share Posted June 7, 2016 The links provided says nothing about the Sky leaving Miami to gp to China as the OP stated. It's the Joy that is going to China. Kimberlyr22 Posted June 7, 2016 #18 Share Posted June 7, 2016 (edited) I guess I should have stipulated that the article didn't mention Sky. The story did at one time reference NCL Sky (the OP was not crazy)...a Google News search for "Norwegian Sky", will bring up the archived version of the story with reference.
