RCCL excursion to Capri, Italy??

Has anyone done a RCCL excursion to Capri?? ( we are on Brilliance and docking a Salarno)

You can easily take the ferry boat on your own. The ferry pier is 5 min walking from the cruise terminal. Last time I had a whole group from the ship on the same ferry I used.

When I was docked in Naples I did an RCCL excursion to Capri. Was pretty good - you saw a lot and then had free time for lunch and your own exploring around.

Naples there is a ferry to Capri. But not sure about Salerno. I'd take the RCI excursion if I were you Salerno us further down the coast it's not Naples .

Capri On Your Own? Doing it on the 7/1 Brilliance sailing.

 

I like knowing that I have a place on a boat rather than hoping there is room. Then I can do what I want when I get there. [emoji4]

That applies for Naples not for Salerno

 

I would stay at the Amalfi Coast incl. Positano if docked in Salerno. Much nicer than crowded Capri.

I did the Capri tour with Royal out of Naples. Yes, I'm sure I could have done on my own, but it was nice having somebody tell me where to go and when to meet. Nice not having to plan.

 

I enjoyed going and was happy I did it - but, I don't necessarily need to go back.

We did it on the liberty a couple of years ago. I found it worth the money. Love Capri.

Ups, sorry, I didn´t see that they are docked in Salerno!

 

I totally agree with you! Stay at the Amalfi Coast and don´t go to Capri out of Salerno.

 

I wouldn´t come up with that idea that you go to Capri from Salerno. That´s something you usually do from Naples.
