Just boarded Harmony - Wow

Boarded Harmony yesterday and just have to say WOW what a gorgeous ship. Have not had much time to explore yet (chasing a 3 year old grandson around most of yesterday) but what I have seen looks fabulous. Boarding was simple, efficient and quick. Had dinner at Chops last night and as good as ever. Going to Coastal Kitchen tonight and Wonderland tomorrow. Children's pool area seems bigger than on Allure, but two of the slides are restricted to 42" in height minimum - (grandson not happy !) but lots of splash areas. Diamond Lounge down on deck 4 is very nice, even though it has no windows, quite large and nicely furnished and decorated. Suite Lounge on Deck 17 very nice too, and Concierges are great, Raj and Ricardo. Will do some more exploring today before we go into Palma.

Hi Carol, no we have not booked a dining package as trying to organize 8 of us is challenging !! We did Coastal Kitchen last night, fabulous meal and they have a completely different menu each evening. Used one BOGO at Chops first night but silly me forgot to ask if could use second one in Wonderland tomorrow, will try and find out today., but if I have lost it, c'est la vie !! Will be going up to the Lounge shortly for breakfast so will ask Ricardo (what a super guy) about the TA and Nancy is in the Diamond Lounge currently. Having a great time with the grandkids, but not a lot of time to relax !!!

HM_concierge02@rccl.com is the email address that he used when e mailing us pre-cruise - is that what you wanted ? What a great guy he is - will be going up to the Lounge shortly so will tell him the lieutenant was asking !

Any good places to dance? Latin dance music in Boleros for sure. What about the other places for older passengers?

 

Sorry not had a chance to find out too much yet about dancing - running around after grandsons - but now that we have the kids club and baby sitting sorted out will try and find out.

Just spoke to Ricardo, no he is due to be on vacation when the TA is on, however he did say that schedules can change.

Do you use the internet? Does it work well? Hubby wants to watch baseball on our cruise in august

 

On the 2 nighter out of Barcelona Voom was really fast. Was the same last year on the Allure for the Med cruise.
