Smoking banned in casino on Indy

Recommended Posts

Give me a break... really.... nearly all RCCL ships sail full. When RCCL finally bans smoking in locations where others do frequent and you no longer cruise, you will not be missed and your cabin will be taken over...

You can compare smoking to race. Race doesn't cause cancer and other problems with your health... and 20% of the people use more expense for healthcare than those that do not smoke... LOL

Carnival tried a smoke free ship. Check it out.

I'm not sure I call someone with asthma being over sensitive. It doesn't take very long before I get severe headaches and have breathing issues when around smoke. So while you might not mind it on your balcony, I would.

most smokers when able to smoke on balcony do it while @ sea therefore smoke does not stay in balcony ( windy eh ) and as i always say why is it that you think that you are more important then me. i coud probably bet my paycheck that on any cruise me the smoker spends 4 times the money then a non smoker on casino, drinks, tips etc. in my most humble opinion i will now get off my box and watch the fun:p

Yes you are so correct, smoke on a balcony doesn't stay on it***** it comes right onto others balconies. Just like most smokers hold their cigarettes out away from themselves right into others faces and spaces. Love it when airports create smoking rooms that contain it all in one space. Yes I do not go into ship casinos that allow smoking in half due to the fact that the smoke travels all round. With asthma breathing is more important!!

Celebrity does not allow smoking in their casinos and they are filled.

I don't believe anything you say except maybe it does blow out of your balcony but it blows out of yours and into ours.

You know nothing about me, as a non smoker. I spend a lot in casino but leave as soon as the smoke starts getting too much. Many non smokers may stay longer and spend more if your were not smoking. Your a dying breed (lol), the handwriting is on the wall. Your cabin will be filled with a non smoker.

A few years ago when we cruised Radiance out of Perth around the bottom of Austraila to NZ and ending in Sydney there was no smoking at all in the casino. That was due to a regulation of the Australian govt. being a certain amout of nautical miles from the Australian coast. It was an extension of Australia's no smoking indoors laws. However, there were smoking areas on 2 outside decks. Don't know if indoor smoking ban is still in place on cruises involving Australia as start or end point of a cruise. On Rhapsody earlier this year in South America - Around the Horn- they did no smoking in Casino for an entire day - it happened to be on a day with horrid cold weather and winds. Rest of time was half smoking / half no smoking.

For complete fleetwide no smoking in Casinos, cruise with Celebrity.

Carnival introduced a smoke free ship, but after 1 season it was changed back. Just saying.

Carnival Paradise was smoke free for over five years, it was changed because it was moved to a homeport where it was their only ship and Carnival wanted passengers to have a smoking option available. Just saying.
