kicia Posted July 3, 2016 #1 Share Posted July 3, 2016 We are sailing on the Divina in a few weeks in the Yacht Club and have a few questions. Do we take all of our luggage to the YC tent? We will have two suitcases, a foldover suiter, and our carryons. Is Le Muse open for lunch on embarkation day? Does the menu in Le Muse change for breakfast and lunch or is it the same every day? This is really a Black card question, but can you use the free specialty restaurant coupon for brunch in Galaxy? If so, is it the same menu for everyone or a tasting menu like for supper? Can you walk deck 15 from the Yacht Club directly to the back for Le Muse? Is the walk inside or outside? Thank you! This will be our second MSC but the first in the Yacht Club and we anxious to try it.
deliver42 Posted July 3, 2016 #2 Share Posted July 3, 2016 Yes, bring all your luggage to the tent. The butler will bring them for you. I can't answer the LeMuse questions because we only ate dinner there. You can walk from YC to LeMuse outside, but to stay inside, you have to go down to 7, and walk to the rear, then take the elevator back up to leMuse. Crzyfrk62 Posted July 3, 2016 #3 Share Posted July 3, 2016 The lunch menu does change in Le Muse. I didn't do breakfast there I loved the pool bar in the mornings, espresso machine, they had basic breakfast small buffet out there and if you want pancakes, waffles, omelettes or like me hard boiled eggs just ask and they will bring it to you. Mikesa1721 Posted July 3, 2016 #4 Share Posted July 3, 2016 I'm all about the gelato at the One Pool myself!!!
Rare BermudaBound2014 Posted July 4, 2016 #5 Share Posted July 4, 2016 I'm all about the gelato at the One Pool myself!!! Low and Behold! There is gelato at One Pool :).. Not only did we never ever see anything resembling this lovely tray of heavenly goodies, we were specifically told that YC did not carry ice cream to make a mud slide. Live and learn, I'll ask a few different people next time :).
Rare BermudaBound2014 Posted July 4, 2016 #6 Share Posted July 4, 2016 We are sailing on the Divina in a few weeks in the Yacht Club and have a few questions. Do we take all of our luggage to the YC tent? We will have two suitcases, a foldover suiter, and our carryons. Yes to the tent, they will tag your luggage and it will be loaded like the rest of the ships luggage. The butler will carry one of your carry ons if you prefer as he escorts you to the lounge. Is Le Muse open for lunch on embarkation day? Yes, from noon until 2:00. Does the menu in Le Muse change for breakfast and lunch or is it the same every day? Slight changes for lunch, I did not notice any changes for breakfast This is really a Black card question, but can you use the free specialty restaurant coupon for brunch in Galaxy? If so, is it the same menu for everyone or a tasting menu like for supper? Can you walk deck 15 from the Yacht Club directly to the back for Le Muse? Is the walk inside or outside? Yes, port side. The walk is outside and can be windy if that bothers you. We preferred the outside walk as the interior hallways on deck 7 can be quite crowded around dinner time. Thank you! This will be our second MSC but the first in the Yacht Club and we anxious to try it. I think you will absolutely enjoy the YC!!! Happy Sailing! Fredric22 Posted July 5, 2016 #7 Share Posted July 5, 2016 I think you will absolutely enjoy the YC!!! Happy Sailing! The menu for lunch in Le Muse is completely different every day. The breakfast menu is the same every day. A small buffet lunch is also served by the One pool every day. The lunch mirrors the lunch menu in Le Muse on that particular day (with some variations). helen haywood Posted July 5, 2016 #8 Share Posted July 5, 2016 Could the issue about being told no ice cream in YC be a language issue? Meaning, no, they do not have ice cream....they have gelato? I understand the drinks needing ice cream could not be made...perhaps they were just responding to that. I had a few quibbles like that when I sailed.
