What is your idea of reasonably priced?
CruiserBruce Posted July 21, 2016 #3 Share Posted July 21, 2016 March is peak season, the demand is VERY high, thus the prices are high also. Agree, what do you think reasonably priced is? That may not match reality. There are dozens of threads on this board talking about hotels.
Langley Cruisers Posted July 21, 2016 #4 Share Posted July 21, 2016 Agree with the above two members - there are, literally, hundreds of threads here on Fort Lauderdale hotels. I think it's one of the top 5 things discussed here. Only you can tell us what you think is "reasonable" - it might be different for everyone. :)

kimlet Posted July 21, 2016 Author #6 Share Posted July 21, 2016 looks and sounds like reasonable for that time is around 200.
JohninDC Posted July 21, 2016 #7 Share Posted July 21, 2016 http://www.sunny.org has lots of FLL area tourist and hotel info. Assuming you are cruising from Port Everglades, lots of cruiser choose to stay in the downtown/17th street area - lots of chain hotels in a variety of price ranges plus many dining options. We like the Embassy Suites, but in March it is likely over your $200 budget.
BlueHerons Posted July 21, 2016 #8 Share Posted July 21, 2016 looks and sounds like reasonable for that time is around 200.00 I've seen quite a few under your price range in the Downtown/Las Olas area and the beach area. Those two would be my first picks.
eandj Posted July 21, 2016 #9 Share Posted July 21, 2016 (edited) looks and sounds like reasonable for that time is around 200.00 What is the EXACT date of your stay? If you have lots of day and evening available to enjoy the city, I'd for sure look at those in the port/beach area. And raise your budget to $225 and up. The Hyatt Place mentioned is a very good value. That includes shuttle service from the airport and breakfast in the morning. Less than $15 cab to port. Be sure to see if valuetrips has it on their blackout dates tho. Edited July 21, 2016 by eandj

March 2017 for the Embassy Suites for my dates using Hilton Honors is $309.00....Prefer ES but since I need to book 4 rooms I've opted for Hyatt Place at $219.00. WestCoastFlyer Posted July 23, 2016 #13 Share Posted July 23, 2016 Hyatt Place is a good price for that time of the year. Very close to the port - 5 to 10 minute cab ride depending on the length of the line at the port security checkpoint
