UG will be closing on or about 9/25 (for the changeover - 2 weeks, I believe) before reopening as MV. Posted on NCL's own website and shared on CC here http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=2387647

 

Maybe, while remodeling the area, they can fix & re-route that jogging/walking path as well, not nice for the joggers & eaters to be bumping into each other's way, anyone who sat up there know this. They've already taken out those comfortable chairs months ago & put in more tables & "regular" chairs for extra seating as UG ... should be interesting by this Fall when it re-open.

 

When in Manhattan on dry land, there are so many choices besides MV - but you do realize a 18% saving if eating lunch as tipping (not service charges or gratuities) is strictly discretionary of your own choice. It's subject to sales tax if choosing MV onboard for Day 1.

A slightly scaled-down buffet. It's worth it to avoid the crowds.
