island284 Posted August 29, 2016 #1 Share Posted August 29, 2016 Possibly this has been posted before and I missed it but there is a URL with the recipe for these cookies from Royal. I baked some and they aren't exact but close enough. I did alter the recipe by omitting the "praline paste" which I couldn't find anywhere and instead crushed up 1/2 cup of toffee bits. I also didn't use the coconut cream. Until I am back on a ship these will be my substitute cookie. http://www.royalcaribbean.com/connect/a-very-royal-recipe-ranger-cookies/
Rare mizLORInj Posted August 29, 2016 #2 Share Posted August 29, 2016 Funny! I seek these out on a RC cruise too. Love them!
Langley Cruisers Posted August 29, 2016 #3 Share Posted August 29, 2016 I also didn't use the coconut cream. Coconut cream is easy to use and available in grocery stores for a very reasonable price (at least, in North America) - about $2.00. Do not shake the can; the cream rises to the top and you can open the can and just scoop out what you need. Use the rest in a curry dish or similar. :)
Rare island lady Posted August 29, 2016 #4 Share Posted August 29, 2016 The DH loves those cookies too (being a true cookie monster ;))! Also likes to put them in a small bowl and cover with ice cream. :D

Rare island lady Posted August 30, 2016 #9 Share Posted August 30, 2016 (edited) Those damn things are so addicting...... Yup, good reason for me to not even bother with trying to copy the recipe. I can use that excuse to suggest to the DH that he can have more cookies, the more I book cruises. :p :p Edited August 30, 2016 by island lady
