carolinafan Posted September 8, 2016 #1 Share Posted September 8, 2016 Not in a hurry to get to MCO, have late afternoon flight. How late can one use self assist debarkation for Port Canaveral? I understand the latest concierge-escorted group is about 9:30? Thanks.
Clarea Posted September 8, 2016 #2 Share Posted September 8, 2016 They usually want you off the ship by 9:30am to 10am.
waterbugohio Posted February 13, 2017 #3 Share Posted February 13, 2017 Is this the same for all ports?? We are doing a 4 night next month. (Port Everglades) We have later afternoon flights, but not in a hurry to get off. However, thought about just carrying off, as we are packing really light. Just thought easier to eat leisurely and walk off when finished. Will this work?? Can we go at anytime??
spookwife Posted February 13, 2017 #4 Share Posted February 13, 2017 Pretty much yes. Out of the cabin by 8 and off by 930. Once General disembarking has begun, it is very inconvenient to be the guy with full size luggage in tow. So unless you only have carry on, its best just line up when they announce self disembark. macdon9876 Posted February 13, 2017 #5 Share Posted February 13, 2017 Is there any benefit to going late - is it less busy? We're in a similar situation - saying in Fort Lauderdale for an extra day - so we may hold off on disembarking until the last groups IF there is a benefit of being less busy. If not, we might as well do self disembarkation and enjoy the day on shore. Sent from my iPad using Forums
Biker19 Posted February 14, 2017 #6 Share Posted February 14, 2017 Once General disembarking has begun, it is very inconvenient to be the guy with full size luggage in tow. it makes no diff when you leave with any amount of luggage. As long as you can reasonably handle it, it makes no diff.
Biker19 Posted February 14, 2017 #7 Share Posted February 14, 2017 Is there any benefit to going late - is it less busy? Yes, if you stay till almost 10, when they start looking for you, you will be disembarking with very few others and have no crowds.

Jen1000 Posted February 14, 2017 #9 Share Posted February 14, 2017 Debarkation times were assigned until at least 10:30 on Oasis. Not in a hurry to get to MCO, have late afternoon flight. Sent from my iPad using Forums Our experience has been the exact opposite. We always do self carry, not once has it been with the first group- as we never are in a hurry to get off. We've also done self carry and been the last one off the ship at 9:30- which was odd. But not a big deal. The early self carry is for people in a hurry who don't want to risk their bags being late. Given that the system say #x and all before it- you can carry off anytime you want. Hang out someplace that you like, be comfortable, and leave as late as you can.
