Bottled Water - In Cabin Use

See a bottled water package on the Celebrity Cruise website but it's description is specific for in restaurants, lounges, etc. On other cruise lines, we can pre-order 12 bottles of bottled water to be delivered to the cabin for use during the cruise. I don't see an option like this for Celebrity. Anyone know how to get bottled water in your cabin to put in the refridgerator for daily use?

You have a couple choices.

1) There is a bottle or two already in the cabin. As you use them the cabin stewart will replace. Not sure the cost.

2) If you have a beveridge package, you can pick up bottles from any bar and store them in your fridge (we usually have the fridge emptied). Please note that if you have a beveridge package it does not include any of the beveridges in your cabin, including the bottled water.

3) You may be able to bring a case of your own water on board. This thread mentions it but I've not personally tried. http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=2297240

You will be charged for it if you use the water that's in your room as it is considered part of the mini-bar.

We just pick up some bottles while we are out and about. Just go to any bar you are passing, or ask a waiter. We usually have 3 or 4 big ones in the fridge at any one time. We also pick them up on our way off the ship on excursions. There's a table by the exit where you can pick some up - big ones and small ones.

If you have any of the beverage packages, bottled water is free anywhere on the ship and you can store it in your room and/or mini bar.

We usually ask the room attendant to empty our mini bar (as we do not use it) and then we stock it with bottled water.

Unless you have a RS or PH, you will be charged for the water provided in the room. Aqua Class could be another exception (AQ'ers can verify / confirm); but with AQ. not sure if it is one bottle per day or unlimited.

However, in any case, it is very easy (if you have any of the beverage packages) to pick up a bottle from any bar on the ship and bring back to your room.

In Aqua Class you get one small bottle of welcoming water per person the first day. The rest of the time, you use your beverage package to grab one at a bar or in the buffet on the other side of the ice cream for no charge. You can get the one liter or two liter bottle on the package at no charge.

You will pay, I believe, $4 per bottle without the package out and about.

If you don't have the package and want a lot of bottled water, many people slap one of their luggage tags on a case and have the dockside porter take it. It's delivered to your cabin with the luggage.

Before we had beverage packages we used to bring a case of water on the ship. We dropped it with our luggage with a tag on it. We also used to bring a case of Diet Cokes on our longer cruises, same thing. Lots of people did that and it's still perfectly ok to do but you just don't see it as much since more and more people have the packages.

We pass by a bar on our way up to the cabin and grab a bottle of water, or we get one at a meal and then bring it up. After about two days we have more than we need in the cabin. We have the premium package generally (as a perk) and so it's no big deal to grab a bottle here or there.
