If you're flexible, you can do it day by day. Just keep in mind that you might be eating at 10PM at your 4th choice restaurant. If you care about where and when, you'll probably want to book in advance. These restaurants are often completely full.

You can make reservations 60 days in advance if in any cabin and 90 days out if in a suite. If you really want a freestyle experience then make your reservations day by day. Most of these restaurants looked like there was plenty of tables when we had the 7 night promo except Teppanyaki which we found the worst of all the restaurants.

It's actually 90 days out, and 100 if in a suite.

My husband and I have this as our "free" choice. What about my teenager? I'm guessing she joins us and pays a la carte. Was thinking of just buying her a dining plan because it may come out cheaper?

We bought our teenager a dining plan. It's easier I think.

If your teen will eat an appetizer, entree and dessert, it would be cheaper with a package. (Esp if they want to try multiple different apps, and desserts)
