Toiletries in D1 cabins on Radiance Class ships

Starting to pack for upcoming cruise and can't remember what amenities are provided in D1 cabins - soap, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion? Are they on the counter or wall mounted dispensers in the shower? Thanks for your insight

Hi Mary, there was shampoo & lotion on the counter but I always pack my own. There was a shower wall mount in the shower of our JS but never used it

Balcony cabins? No amenities, other than the shower dispenser and bar soap are provided. But your room steward may bring you some if you ask.

 

We were just in a junior suite on Liberty and should have had upgraded amenities, based on Crown & Anchor level and type of stateroom. Our marginal cabin steward brought the body wash, shampoo, conditioner and lotion after we asked.

 

Nice young man, but he pretty much had no clue as to what we were talking about when we asked for things. As in, we requested the Wash & Fold laundry bag....not a regular laundry bag. He totally skipped the first opportunity.

The Wash & Fold bag allows you to fill a (fairly small) bag with things like underwear and t shirts, for a flat fee rather than a per item price. It can be a good deal, and there's a diamond discount.

We were on Radiance Nov last year. Only shower gel and small soaps which I tend to drop, a lot. This is awkward as the shower stall is so cramped.

We've booked again for Feb 2017 and will be taking shampoo and conditioner.
