Some info on the Birth of Reflection, (she was such a cute baby)

 

She was assembled in Germany..

 

She has a heavyyy bottom

Without jinxing it, so far the internet service on Reflection is 9 outta 10 Oscars. Pics upload in several seconds and videos in about 30-45 seconds..wayyyyy better than other internet service on NCL and dare I say even better than on RCL Allure of the Seas.

 

Not quite as good as RCL Quantum, but way better than I had planned it would be.

 

Hope the quality hold through the week

Unsettled weather, what is one to do.... let's go have some breakfast:

 

We are usually not buffet aficionados,but we gave it a try this morning

They have various station instead of a long line of options, which seems to work well to disperse crowds somewhat

I opted to try the pre-made eggs benny

 

 

One test of a buffet is if the food that should be hot is an cold cold. Sadly the hot food was mostly cold and the non-hot items were ok temp wise.

 

3 outta 5 forks.. layout of buffet added last .5 or it would be 2.5.

 

Tomorrow the dining room.

Thank you for the great review. For once a critic that does not think they are a professional basher. I do not come to cruise critic very often anymore as most folks just bash. We will be on that ship in 2018 and sure do appreciate what you are doing. We are in an aft cabin on that one.

I noticed that the Lawn Club Grill is offering a Gourmet Burger lunch. If you happen to be near there, I'd love to see the menu and know the cost. But only if you happen to be there :)

 

I also noticed that the Sushi On 5 hours are 12:00-2:30 & 6:00-11:00. Hubby and I loved getting sushi from the buffet as a pre-dinner snack and were hoping to do the same at Sushi On 5 - guess we are out of luck there.

Ok Cruise Critics- We had our breakfast now time to get moving! Fall out for the march...

 

The jogging/walking track is on deck 15 and circles above the main pool and wraps around behind the mast bar. I did not calculate the distance of one circuit but maybe about .15 of a mile?

Here's a fitness tip ... keep hydrated :)

 

 

3.5 forks outta 5 taste was great, garnish could have been a bit more.

 

Passing along the northern part of Cuba, sea depth is 1,650 feet. You can just see cuba through the clouds.

Once you get the hang of tapatalk you will be a pro! Funny aside to the report, I downloaded the Cruise Critic app to try this trip and was switching between tapa and cruise critic app. The are very similar and probably designed with the same base software, however the button layout for certain functions are different in CC app and several times yesterday when quoting a post on CC I hit what I thought was the photo button but it was the report post button.

 

I think I canceled before reporting but if there is one reported I apologize, but I think I caught it. So tapatalk for me the rest of the way :)

 

Anyone want to go shopping for a bit since Mr Sunshine took the day off?

Shopping down by the Avenue across from the Casino on Deck 4

Seadog gets one mark in the savvy shoppers column, as we try to buy a ship model of each ship we sail, so I spied Reflection

 

 

At a price of

 

 

But upon checkout was charged

 

 

So being the savvy cruiser asked why it was two dollars more, ( yeah darn straight that's 1/8 of a martini cost ), and It sent the sale lady into a hurried search for her manager. They failed to put the right price out on display which is $34.99 so they refunded me and only charged me $32.99. I guess the cost is less on the last day so maybe I am not as savvy as I think buying it on day 2
