Allure - a few questions

Sailing on the allure March 2017 eastern Caribbean. Had a few questions. TIA for the replies.

Drink package: looks like the price is $48 a day. I saw some people saying it was $44. Does the price fluctuate or am I missing a discount somewhere? Also, is it possible to just get the package for 1 person and not for the 2nd person in the cabin? I know on some lines if 1 person gets a drink package then everyone in the cabin has to get it. The wife won't drink that much and we are better off just paying for what she drinks and not get the package for her.

Any links to the daily mdr menus? I couldn't find then in a search.

Is it a crap shoot to put a luggage tag on a case of water at the ft. Lauderdale port and having it show up in the room? I hear lots of stories that some people have success and some are denied.

Thanks for the help!!

There is no requirement for both of you to buy a package.

They are available, but RC is in the midst of rolling out new menus, and I will wager that they will be different by March.

I would place your odds of success at 75-25. :D

Thanks for the help!!

There is a link to new menus in post 1 that are from the Allure mid October.

Not sure if these are the menus that will be rolled out fleet wide or not. They are very similar to the old menus with many of the ore expensive dishes removed. (Prime rib, beef tenderloin). I believe that these menus were on the Freedom last week as well.

Being Spring break makes the odds a little higher, but a 7 day on Allure lessens it somewhat. Let us know how it goes.
