Strange Things on Cruises

Are there any things that you do on cruises that are part of your cruise ritual but others would probably think were weird? What are they? We have several!

Whenever I've been out wandering late at night the pools are closed up, but then I usually cruise on the old folks line so that may explain it.

NCL's room service charge is $7.95 if you ever cruise them.

We really don't do anything on a ship that we wouldn't do in a resort hotel....so no...nothing specific or "special" on a ship! It's like any vacation, to us!

I don't know why, but at least once per cruise, I get up before sunrise, get coffee and sit on the lido deck to watch the sun come up. It's usually me and the people hosing down the deck. For whatever reason, I get fascinated watching them, then the sunrise. Great way to start a day.

I wouldn't classify it as strange, and perhaps it is a ritual, but the only thing I do on every cruise is that which is described by my screen name....and I leave it all behind when I cruise.

My husband and I did the same on our last cruise. It was very peaceful relaxing way to start the day.

That sounds great. I love the sunrise and coffee :)

I just have a hard time getting up at sunrise on vacation. (and I don't drink alcohol so its not due to a hangover)

Must try to discipline myself to do this.
