Sorry if this has been answered recently, but do the drinks you carry on board have to be in the form of a 12 pack or can you take 2 six packs or another variety?

You can bring 12 cans per person in any form, 12 pack, 2 Sixers, 12 singles

it might better to get the propel powder and mix it with water on the ship. the powder is easier to carry then cans

Not to nitpick but does can restriction apply only to soda? I was planning to bring aboard Simply Lemonade and that does not come in a can only a bottle. Will they take it from me?

The can restriction applies to all beverages, even water.

If you can't find the powder or cans of Propel, I'd avoid bottles, they are prohibited.
