mscinmia Posted December 20, 2016 #1 Share Posted December 20, 2016 This is my first premier cruise that I have been able to go on. Would love to have an idea of the events..... especially the welcome aboard cocktail party and approximate time. I would like to go to the steakhouse on the first night. woodman Posted December 20, 2016 #2 Share Posted December 20, 2016 Never heard of it. The Steak house is a definite go for me. Half price wine I always but 3 bottles and take them to the MDR the rest of the cruise. Enjoy !
HawkIVette Posted December 21, 2016 #3 Share Posted December 21, 2016 (edited) Just got off the Conquest on a Premier cruise. My first too. Welcome aboard party the second night. 5:00 if I remember right. Great hors d'oeuves and free drinks. A+. Drinks on Us card in your cabin upon arrival. Wife even got it and she doesn't hardly gamble. Got bottle of champagne, cookies, and chocolate covered strawberries delivered to the room on different nights. Was given a free steakhouse with free bottle of wine second night while playing, good for the next night (already scheduled for 6:30 pm). Wasn't about to complain about the time or day. I got $300 from the Casino upon arrive to the cashiers cage. Some others I spoke to got same, some more ($700 one guy told me). Free drawings each night in the Casino from around 4- 11 pm for cash (progressive) had to be present to win. I was even lucky enough to win the last night drawing @11 pm for the free cruise. Good luck and have a great cruise. I will be looking forward to more Premier Cruise offers. Edited December 21, 2016 by HawkIVette

I was happy with the reduced rate and $400 Casino cash but the rest of the goodies you listed are awesome! Congrats on winning the free cruise also! You will have a schedule in your stateroom on boarding. On the Glory 12/10 for a premier cruise and snowball drawing was at 8pm on port days and 10:30AM on sea days. Lots of other promotions such as wild card match, wheel of fortune spins, tower of cash, Matilda the cow, hot seat, etc. Make sure to read your schedule of events and save the cards with the next days activities. In addition to the items listed by the posters above, we got a decent shoulder bag with a very nice plush Players bath/pool towel. Lots of fun, and the Glory was using smoke eaters in certain areas of the casino.
sailawaykaye Posted December 21, 2016 #7 Share Posted December 21, 2016 We have done two Premier and two Ultra. We are doing our third Premier in March. Really hard to pass up.......however, these types of cruises keep you pretty busy. Constantly having to be at a drawing. You have to be present to win. Basically you have to schedule everything around the drawings. Really only down time is when in port. On the last Ultra Cruise they had a drawing every night at Midnight for a free cruise for two in a suite, $500 for shore excursions, $500 spa credit, $500 for travel expenseses on a future Ultra Cruise. I didn't win, but would never forgive myself if they called my name and I wasn't there!
sc4125 Posted December 21, 2016 #8 Share Posted December 21, 2016 It's been several years since I did a Premier cruise (did one on the Dream & one on the Legend). The only issue for me was that the casino was crazy crowded. All the popular slots were being played with people lurking behind the players waiting for someone to get up. Oh, sorry, one more issue was that almost everyone had a Drinks On Us card so getting a drink was almost impossible and I tipped every time. The waiters just couldn't handle the number of people ordering. For those who have recently taken a Premier - did you experience these issues? I still get the offers, but when possible I would rather use the Pack n Play rate. The Premier drawings are nice - but, I don't tend to be very lucky with drawings (lol) - although my sister won one of the $1000 drawings!!
