How does the All-Inclusive Alcohol package work?

May I ask......Does the UBP start as soon as you board or not until international waters?

 

Also I believe they did away with paper slips I don't remember seein them at all my last 2cruises. Just the vat tax before the ship leaves. I wouldn't worry about the vat it is like 80 cents or under a drink. Between me and the wife I know we did not pay more then $15 on that tax for that first day.

Is there any chance of sharing a few drinks if there are three persons in a room with only two with the UBP.

 

 

What you do is purchase it for the 3rd person and split the cost 3 ways.

 

Sharing is really not the right word.

If i buy a Dining Package (maybe the one with the three Opportunitys).

 

Is there only the Main Course included and i have to pay extra for the starter and Dessert???

You don't pay extra for apps or desserts, it's included. And if you have UBP ( beverage pckg.) your drinks are included also.

When I went on the Escape in May, we had up to $18 per drink and we never went over with pricing. Do you know when the UBP went down to $15 per drink? That is quite annoying they are increasing some drinks so you have to pay over.

sales tax rates for FL ports

Miami - 7%

Ft Lauderdale - 6%

Tampa - 7%

Port Canaveral - 6.5%

The limit has never gone down. It was increased to $15 a while ago (possibly a couple of years).

 

If you weren't charged anything for $18 drinks last May then you just got lucky, as the limit was $15
