ELA Posted January 1, 2017 #1 Share Posted January 1, 2017 Hi, We are looking at Breakaway out of NYC. Is the only difference the bath tub? There is a difference in square footage but I wasn't sure if there is more to consider before we make a decision... Thanks, Ela

Got Tequila? Posted January 1, 2017 #3 Share Posted January 1, 2017 (edited) Hi,We are looking at Breakaway out of NYC. Is the only difference the bath tub? There is a difference in square footage but I wasn't sure if there is more to consider before we make a decision... Thanks, Ela Only the family mini suite cabins on the Breakaway have the tub/shower combination, the other mini suites just have a deluxe shower. The extra square footage is mostly in the bathroom area in the mini suite cabins. The mini suites have two sinks and a longer vanity, and a deluxe shower. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/10YW7fMQarer30UCHKqKJ_zLDmbyMTczCTtYf2XRflh8/pub?single=true&gid=0&output=html That spread sheet was put together by bear3412, another Cruise Critic member....there are photos if you click on the blue X's https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1GjQvT8IMbkzwCjr-NmjNV7RY68LASP9msJ0xMMTY63A/pub?start=true&loop=true&delayms=5000#slide=id.gd42f989a_2_0 Edited January 1, 2017 by Got Tequila? SuiteTraveler Posted January 1, 2017 #5 Share Posted January 1, 2017 A better deal would be to get a spa balcony cabin instead of a mini suite. The spa balcony includes access to the spa for 2 - worth a whole lot more than a bigger bathroom, IMO.
Rare BirdTravels Posted January 1, 2017 #6 Share Posted January 1, 2017 The rooms are identical in size. The only difference is he size of the bathroom. Many mini suites only have the large shower (no tub). We always select a mini suite over the balcony for thee additional space in the bathroom. We hat the micro showers in regular balconies.
