bakersdozen12 Posted January 9, 2017 #2 Share Posted January 9, 2017 Not sure, but if it doesn't, just lock it in your suitcase. Sent from my iPhone using Forums mobile app
realjd Posted January 9, 2017 #3 Share Posted January 9, 2017 (edited) If not, just throw it out of site in your suitcase so it's out of sight. Your room steward literally doesn't have time to go rummaging through people's luggage with all the rooms he or she needs to clean, and their job is way more important to them than an easy to track stolen iPad. I worry way less about it on the ship than I do land based hotels. Edited January 9, 2017 by realjd
Rare jimbo5544 Posted January 9, 2017 #4 Share Posted January 9, 2017 I had a iPad Pro as well as a Mac Air that I always travel with and have never had a problem leaving them in the center draw of the desk. Sent from my iPad using Forums

Shaded Lady Posted January 9, 2017 #7 Share Posted January 9, 2017 I would absolutely trust my room steward, but make sure you put it away out of sight, even in the desk drawer as suggested. My last cruise I forgot my ipad on the end of our bed. We went to breakfast and I forgot something so I had to run back to our room. Our cabin steward was cleaning our room and had propped the door open while he was cleaning the bathroom. I was shocked when I saw my ipad just sitting there, only steps from the open door where someone could have popped in, grabbed it and be gone before it was ever noticed. No fault of our steward at all. After that, I made sure I always put anything of value out of sight when we left the cabin.
Doggielover68 Posted January 9, 2017 #8 Share Posted January 9, 2017 It most likely will not fit. I can barely get my regular ipad in there. I second locking it/storing it in your suitcase under the bed or putting it somewhere out of sight Sent from my iPad using Forums mobile app

evandbob Posted January 9, 2017 #12 Share Posted January 9, 2017 I use a letter sized (8 1/2" by 11") manila folder for my travel docs and papers, and have to bend and fold it so it can fit into the safe.
