Unable to perform online check in

SO and I choose to use separate charge accounts on our cruises. I use my accounts for me as I play in the Casino.

When I try to do the on-board accounts, it requires on to read the * stuff. No matter what i seem to do, the box that one must select to indicate I read the stuff will not highlight nor can I select the box that say I read it.

I have had this issue before and I believe I selected that only one card would be used for both of us and then later changed them to have two different accounts.

Does anyone have the fix to do this the first time one checks in online.

Thanks...

We always have and continue to use 2 seperate credit cards. In the past I have had issues when doing on line checkin. I went back to the beginning and did it all over again and finally got it to work. I guess I forgot to dot an i or cross a t somewhere along the line. I normally check myself in and then go back and check DH in. As we all know Royal's system is in serious need of help. Bob will probably have a better answer.

I have CRS. I think this is what I did our two last cruises. Check one in and then the other in. Will give this a try later.

Makes no sense. I run into this each cruise. One would think they would fix it by now. We have different last names as it would be a nightmare changing one of our professional license. Beside the fact of established business names.

Try using another browser. I could not complete mine using Google. Ended up using Mozilla and not problem.

Now that I refreshed my memory a bit. I think what I did last time was check us both in under one onboard credit card. Then I went back and edited one of us and then was allowed to enter another card. I will try later.

If that doesn't work, I will try another browser. I use Chrome

Are you paid in full? The SetSail pass cannot be printed until you are paid in full.

The check box that you want to tick is about accepting t&c. The t&c are in the box above and have a slider on the right as they do not fully fit the box. When you move the slider the check box underneath activates. If you don't move the slidet it means you haven't read the t&c.

I agree, I had problems using Google, used Mozilla. It solved the problem.

I have another problem, two weeks ago, I switched rooms. The set and sail pass shows the proper room, but the luggage tags show the old room.

I emailed RCCL twice about the problem, so far it has not been changed.

I know I can get luggage tags at the dock, but it is a minor hassle. The chance of them putting the wrong room number or illegible room number is there.

Not for me. I think Chrome is the issue. I now remember I think Bob also suggested trying another browser last time. Tomorrow I will try IE.

You get old and memory fails me.

Wouldn't it be nice if you could contact RCIs IT department and ask and get help concerning their website problems. But as most of us have experienced onetime or more that's not going to happen.

RCI reps can't even contact their own IT department...I've asked about this...they have to put in a "ticket" as they referred to it...what happens to that no one knows :eek:

Ask the luggage handler for the luggage tags and write your cabin # on it yourself....We do this all the time so no problems.

I have both issues. The first is solved as swixpat says. All the information does not fit in the box so you have to slide down to"read" the whole thing then the box will highlight and you can check it. I still however cannot print my luggage tags but reading FAQ it says they will come available after 50 day mark. This is my first time with Royal so I guess I will wait and see.

For me, scrolling didn't work. I ended up having to click the Print button, and that allowed the check box to activate. I didn't actually have to print the document, but clicking the print button was the only way it would work.

I did two separate check ins, for two separate cruises and I ran into the same problem for both.

For one of the cruises, I used two separate credit cards in the same cabin. I had to fully check in one passenger, click the box that they were only authorizing payment for themselves, answer all the rest of the questions, then go through all the motions for the second passenger. It worked with no problems. I was using Firefox.

This was the fix. I tried Chrome again this morning and no matter how many times i Clicked, Scrolled down, or did anything in the disclaimer text box, the box to check after reading never highlighted in order to allow me to check the read box.

I fired up IE, and it was easy and worked.

After thinking about this a bit, I recall the same problem on last two cruises. It had slipped my mind that using chrome as an issue. i noticed one other thing while using Chrome but not sure if this has anything to do with Chrome not working. I use Kaspersky for my computer protection. It warns me that there is a program running that has been know to be malware. So, I have it disconnect the program. Maybe that is reason. IE came up with not errors from Kaspersky.

I believe Bob also recommend to me last time to try another browser as well.
